Ok, just will add my $0.02 here.

Got my ego-c yesterday 5 pm. Couple of assumptions first:

Normally I'm a carto guy, LR Boge cartos on either the silver bullet or the kgo battery. I tend to like 80/20 16 or 18 mg juice in tobacco and/or coffee and Carmel favors. I am not a big fruity flavor person. I have not tried the ego-t before I got the ego-c. Last, I am not a "fiddler" I do not want to have to fiddle with my PV just to get it to consistently vape the way I want. I want to pick it up, vape and put it away. That's why I normally don't drip, toss my cartos when they start to leak, burn, taste bad and don't mix juices in cartos (or attys when I do drip).

That said, here's my first impressions:

24 hr overview: The ego-c rocks. Wow.

Fit & finish: first rate, nice hand feel, branding all over it but tasteful.

Vapor production: tons. Bloog/volt like (my experience is that Bloog/volt put out tons of vapor). Seriously a lot better vapor production than my normal setup.

Taste: very good. Compared to the carto, I think this is a bit lower in taste. However, that could be because the juices I like taste better when they are really cooked/almost burnt (Carmelized). The ego-c is seems to be producing a "cleaner" vape and taste is affected. However, fruity juices do taste good to me in this (again, I normally run hotter so fruits in that environment get burned/chemical tasting)

TH: good, of course this all depends on the juice.

Battery: I think joye has improved the batteries somehow. Took one off the charger today at 4pm, drove to vape meet in York,PA and put it back I charger at midnight. Vaper pretty much entire time and the battery still had life in it. I was not seeing the yellow light. All in all I'd rate my use tonight as high end for me and it lasted. Very good.

Tanks: no leaking, uses the standard ego-t tanks. Used both the ones the ego-c came with and type A ego-t tanks I got from a vendor today.

Atty: have only used 1 atty and have thrown a bunch of juices at it: thin, thick, light, dark, menthol, non-menthol. Just blow it out, swap tanks (or wash the tank with warm water and refil) and boom, right back at it. In fact, you need not even blow it out if going from one juice flavor to complementary one. First couple of puffs juice flavors combine, but after that, atty delivers flavor from only juice in tank.

Obviously, more time will tell but after 24 hrs, quite impressed. I have a couple of LR ego-t tanks I got today for comparison, but haven't had the opportunity yet to use them, so I'll update later.

One positive of the atty is that I think the design really optimizes juice delivery to it. I mean,it's basically a bridge less atty, the spike has a small bit of wicking in it, but it's really a straight shot from the tank to the atty coil. Someone told me tonight that the ego-c atty is basically a bridge-less 306, and that might be a good way to think of it.

Overall impressions: really like it. For me, I need a PV that's small, unobtrusive , holds a 1/2 days (8 to 10 hrs) worth of juice (or swappable carts/tanks) and battery lasts 1/2 day. Like I said, I'm not a fiddler- don't normally want to be messing with bottles of juice, dripping, filling cartos when I'm at work/out and about (basically ill fiddle when im on the couch). This seems to fit all those requirements.

Obviously, the ego-c has all of the pluses of the ego-t, the hope is that joye has addressed the minuses. Experience so far says they have. More time with it will tell.

Bringing my SB to work has issues, and this looks like an awesome replacement. I love the fact that the attys can be changed and are cheaper than the ego-t attys. seems silly but I have a mental block about having to toss a 10-12 dollar ego-t atty vice tossing a $6 one. I also don't want to have to engage in atty maintenance if I don't want to. Option of tossing a $6 atty is palatable.

My hope is that eventually ego-c will be "the" standard ego style tank PV in future, resulting in price drops to 3-4 dollars an atty. that's carto range there. Plus, the ego-c attys should/could last longer: they can be blown, cleaned with alcohol and burned, where cartos are much bigger hassle.

So that's it for first impressions. Still need to do a comparison by using ego-t LR atty. at some point, I'll write up a more detailed review, with pics/vids and such, but want to give it 2 weeks of use.

Also, did not know joye was gonna be releasing LR ego-c atty, that's awesome. One concern I have is that I think replacement attys will be hard to come by for a few weeks/months as joye rolls out the ego-c. That kind of sucks, so I'll have to watch ovale and TW sites like a hawk to score some additional attys.

My recommendation is this: $69 bucks is a steal for the kit. If the price goes up, then at least get the cone and the attys to add to your ego/ego-t setup.

dham340 - Thanks for the review on the eGo-C. I think mine is going to be delivered Monday. I am going to camp by the mailbox as I also have some Copper Creek House Blend and Coffee juice coming that may get here Monday as well. :2cool:

Here's a cool graphic I found on the Joyetech site:

Tom10, the Ego-C uses the standard A tanks. I haven't noticed any difference in the caps either. I'm still using the hard caps that come on the tanks, and haven't tried a softer silicone cap yet. I'm probably 20 tank refills in on the same Atty. No burnt taste except for the last vape or two before the Battery dies. No leakage whatsoever. Just fill and vape away.. Lovin Life again!

On a side note: Noticed TW is already putting up some general info on the new Ego-C system on their site...

Thanks for the information. I'm thinking about buying a set, but I also considered waiting until they come out with a Type B large tank Ego-C.

dham - your experience is what mine has been for a month now. We also have similar tastes - mainly stronger flavors but a few lighter ones and the c performs well with those as well - black currant, ylang ylang..... actually black currant holds up well to heat better than others. Ylang Ylang gets burnt out with a Riva SE batt on the T's. I've also used the Riva SE on the ego-c with good results - still no discoloration that you'd see with the T tanks.

I'll be waiting on the B's but until then I'll grab one other c atty body and likely some modules - and LR's if they come out.

I had been vaping Bananas Fosters Coffee, Vanilla Cappucino, and Snickerdoodle.
When I go out w/ friends for drinks I like MS T's Red Hotz.. OMG! I loaded two tanks w/ the RH, and headed out.
The Ego-C really brought the flavor out on this juice for some reason. It was as good as when I DD!
Friends were taking vapes, and they all want Ego-C kits now..

Also, loaded up a tank and an atty on a fresh battery for a friend that tried a 510 before, but didn't like the hassle with batteries lasting an hour, and filling carts. He wanted a tobacco flavor, so my Ego-C came w/ a bottle of DK 24MG Tobaccie. I thought the juice smelled terrible when I opened the bottle and sniffed. But, it actually tasted really nice in the Ego-C! Kind of a Nutty/Caramel after taste. He was amazed once I showed him how to get a nice vape going.

He normally will buzz outside for an analog after every drink, last night he only had 1! Think his girlfriend got on Ovale's site this morning and ordered him an early christmas present!

Love the battery life, and the plug and play application on the "C"... I had to change tanks while out last night, but only cause my friends kept wanting to steal vapes of the Red Hotz! :)

dham340, excellent review, I have been thinking about ordering a kit and after your review I probably will. My fav is using tanks because they hold so much juice and make the carto's last a lot longer, but I think I would like the Ego-C for caring around with me. The regular Ego-t set up I have, I quit using because the atty's did not hold up very long and way to expensive to replace. So I have high hopes for the new Ego-C. I also like using something with out filler material in them, like reg. carto's.

Just replaced the stock tank hard cap w/ a soft silicone replacement. The stock cap wouldn't puncture correctly on my "C".
Just to update, soft cap vaping nicely. :)
They are easier for me to remove/re-insert any way, as the hard caps tend to get "juice build up" on them more easily.

yes the soft caps do a better seal and are very easy to remove using a paper towel for an easy grip.

Got my eGo-C today. I have been vaping on it all evening and am on my second tank of my favorite juice - Boba's Bounty. Here are some initial impressions.

I was interested in a tank system but was concerned about the fiddling factor I had heard some eGo T users talk about. Leaking tanks, adjusting the wick and the relatively expensive ongoing costs of the replacement atty. The eGo C seems to solve these issues and is pretty much plug and play. I also like the fact that there is no poly fill or fiber material to burn. Just juice in the tank feeding the atty.

The kit includes two complete setups with two batteries, two atty bases, two cones and a charger (USB and wall plug). It came with the 5 atomizers in what I guess is the standard resistance at 2.2 ohms. It also came with 5 tanks - 2 blue and 3 white. I asked Ovale USA to include some VG juice since my wife is PG intolerant. They wrote a note on the packing slip indicating that all their juice was PG or PG/VG blended so they threw in a free eGo lanyard instead of the freebie juice bottle. Nice!

How does it vape? Well it was pretty easy to get started. I took out an atty, blew the primer out, placed it on the atty base and screwed in the cone. The tank was fairly easy to fill. The cap comes off the tank easier if you pry from the flat side btw. I filled it up with Boba's, popped it into the cone, let it sit for a minute and started puffing.

The vapor production was actually a bit surprising. I was expecting the all VG juice to produce nice clouds but it was massive clouds! It only took a few puffs to get it going and there was not really any nasty primer taste.

The flavor I get from the eGo-C is unique and different from my standard eGo with the SR atty or LR carto. I just got some Boge LR cartos and have not been happy with them in terms of flavor. They are harsh to me masking some of the flavor and the TH from the Boge LR is actually a bit rough on my throat. This is simply not the case with the eGo-C. The flavor is nice and I get virtually zero burnt flavors and the TH is just right, not too much and not too little. Boba's Bounty has a more mellow character with more chocolate/graham cracker tones coming through on the eGo-C. Gorilla Juice is also mellowed with more banana in the flavor. I likey! :D

The eGo-C base/atty/cone assembly fits my standard eGo batteries no problem. I have not run the eGo-C battery down far enough yet to see how the new LED battery indicator works. I guess it will change two colors (blue at 40% and orange at 10% or something) as the charge depletes? The 5-click on/off feature is also nice for storage and apparently helps to extend the battery life a bit. The look and feel of the unit is quite nice with the black finish. It is silky smooth in the hand. Everything fits together nicely with good threading like on other eGo units.

The only negative(s) I have experienced so far is I overfilled the tank on the second re-fill. This seems to make it vacuum lock and I got a dry hit or two. I had to take it apart and siphon out some juice to get it to start feeding again. Out of the 1.2ml capacity I am thinking 1ml is just about right. The new unit also has a freshly manufactured smell/odor on the battery and cone that I also got from my standard eGo kit. This will probably go away after a few days like it did on my other eGo kit. I think for some, the more mellow flavor and TH may also be a negative but it isn't for me. I hear Ovale is getting in the new LR 1.8 ohm atty soon so that may give a stronger hit that some may prefer.

The eGo-C get a thumbs up from me! :thumb:

Yeah but you can't really blame them can you? Joye comes out with the ego and most ego style units sold are knockoffs. This is obviously Joyes way of trying to protect their products - high price at introduction with limited distributors, then expand distribution to all their authorized sellers once they get the production lines going full bore. At that point, knockoffs appear then they lower the price.

I guess I don't understand why you could be disappointed.

Thanks sammy - nice review!

ournature - thanks for posting the vid! - that 'strategy' has become 'standard' since the release of the mega eGo attys and cartos - TW got them first and it was quite a while before other vendors got them. That 'lag time' was considerably shorter with the T's. So we'll see. But yeah, I hear ya on prices as well :)

One thing in the video, that I wouldn't recommend is when he puts it back together, he just throws the head/module into the atty body then screws it on and forces the head into place by inserting the tank. I wouldn't recommend that. I screw the 'holder' in first - tightly (without the atty body, so when you screw on the atty body, the holder doesn't turn anymore), then place the head/module so that the slots in the spike plate are at 90 degrees to the batt button, then screw on the atty body and insert the tank - the flat sides of the tanks are now aligned with the slots* - better airflow :) If you want a more restricted airflow (some might prefer that), align the slots with the button.

*that is IF you have the button on the top or bottom in regular vaping. ;)
