Hi all ive been vaping for 3 weeks love it have not had a dip or chew since I bought my first set up at Good Karma Vapor in NNJ. So far ive developed a few questions and would like to see other vapers opinions. I had an aspire BDC tank that the head crapped out on on me after a week. I do bang my vape around alot (im a refrigeration mechanic and vol. fireman) so not sure if I should be looking for something more durable. After I got the new head I sprung a leak in the tank in my pocket and now i have a Kanger evo, it seems to be more durable. but I seem to have problems with keeping it clean and keeping taste consistent. I go through about a tank a day and change flavors almost everyday Ive tried rinsing it out then dry burning. Also Ive found some juice bottles lose their taste if left out in my truck in the cold to long not sure if this is normal or right. I know its long and alotta questions but im very interested in all the different juices mods etc. I look forward to talking with you all thanks.

Hi NJFire (LOL ... love the thread name!)

Yes, there are more durable setups out there. Try the setup you have for a while and see how it works out. If you find that it can't take the beating, then I would look at either the Innokin VTR (cost effective and durable) or the Provari Mini (expensive but will take a serious beating). Those are the 2 most durable setups I know about, at least in a pocket friendly form factor. YMMV!

I don't own a Provari (yet), but I will own a VTR again soon (long story, don't ask!). I can tell you that the VTR is absolutely solid feeling in my hand, and has *some* protection for the tank once it's installed. Google Innokin VTR for photos, and you will see what I'm talking about.

Anyway, best of luck!

HTH!

That does look like it can take a beating, and I have seen quite a few guys and gals at my vape shop with those. I am not to sure I wanna switch away from pen/cig shaped yet. I also find I like to keep it in my mouth when Im on the computer like a cigar really helped with my oral fixation (giggity) seeing that Im coming from dipping a can a day and rarely smoking. And box shaped like that doest really seem doable with that. But thanks for the quick response!!

Hi! and welcome to ECF. I am trying to think of something that would be small enough and sturdy enough to stand up to your needs and be able to be hands free. Only thing I can think of would be a second device just for the hands free part of your vaping, and another for your out and about rugged parts of the day. I think I may know someone who could give you a few tips. His name is JJOOHHNN and I will try to find him and get him over here.

Bunch of us here. We can help. Give us a little better list of things you need in a device and a ballpark price range.

I dont need "hands free" per se just something I can keep in my mouth I dont mind having to press the button on my e-Go t batteries Im just not totally sold on the idea of the box type vapes so far so good with my kanger evo with the run of the mill e-go t battery next week I plan on getting an adjustable voltage batt and a couple more tanks to use. I just didnt like how flimsy the aspire BDC was and I dont really know of anyother tanks

Do you know if you like a top coil or bottom coil setup better? I have and love Vision Spinner 1300mah, lasts me all day but is bigger, about size of a magic marker. About same diameter of an Evod. The Innokin itaste vv3 is small and is vv/vw and has passthrough but only about 700mah. I am not much help with toppers, I drip into a Joye 510 atty. Not suitable for your needs at all. :)
