I see in a prior (similar) thread, some folks like a juice blend higher in PG while others prefer higher VG. I have been buying the Vanilla Splash the last few months and on my last order I see it changed from a VG/PG (90% / 10% based on Jerry's quote for Red Tail line ratios) to a new PG/VG ratio (I don't know what it is but there's more PG in the new mix). The flavor tastes basically the same to me but there's more throat hit.

I will still use the new blend becuase I like the flavor but I preferred the old blend. I don't care for heavier throat hit and even though it may be psychological, I loved seeing the bigger plume of vape when I exhaled!!! Also, the plume from the (old) higher VG juice seems to dissapate faster after it's exhaled whereas the plume from the (new)higher PG juice seems to linger around longer - like cig smoke does.

Since some folks prefer VG and some prefer PG as their dominant liquid, maybe in the future Aroma will offer a choice of the blend so customers can choose their liquid to be high PG, low VG or high VG, low PG thus satisfying more customers. I know I would be happy to have that choice!!!

For now and in the future, I would find it very helpful if the PG/VG ratio's were published on the website for each of the liquids.

Thanks

Noted....and it will be addressed.

Our website will be changing over the next month.

Facelift, information, and descriptions are all part of the revamp.

I'm in the process of selecting a company to do that. I don't have the time anymore to revamp and keep up with the daily tasks.

There are some additional changes as well but we will announce them as they happen.

I will see if we can do a selection of VG PG mixes as well. 70/30, 50/50, and 70/30 are what I'm thinking might work.

Input is appreicated and accepted. I noticed you are in Phoenix as well. Would you like to stop by the lab sometime and disucss this along with other ideas you may have?

Thanks for the quick reply and the update on the future web-site enhancements and possible mix choices. Looking forward to them.

I actually live in Gilbert so I'm pretty close to Chandler and yes, I would like to visit your lab in next few weeks or whenever it's convenient you and your staff (I'm sure you're all very busy). Just let me know how to set up an appointment, etc.

Thanks

VG all the way.
TH means nothing to me and yes, I'm the odd man out I'd say.

OK, I want to know about the ratio now for my new favorite juice, Vanilla Splash.

Our new stock will have new label's on every ejuice you get. They will indicate PG/VG or VG/PG and the percentage in the mix.

We are in the process of updating the website and our eliquids will also indicate PG or VG based.

What prompted the change to putting more PG in the Red Tail line? There's too much, I like that it's easier to shake, but I wish it wasn't so much.

I noticed beginning in September that my Red Tail VG Mint Mango Berry was runny. Before when it was 90% VG, it was so thick I could drop the bottle (lid-off while mixing), and it was thick like molasses, I wouldn't spill a drop. Also, when filling my cartomizers, when I dropped them, which I invariably do because of my Multiple Sclerosis, with the VG I could look on the floor with the flashlight, and moments later not a single drop would spill on the floor before I finally found them under my computer desk, which is surrounded by clutter right now. Now with Mint Mango Berries more fluidic texture, as soon as the bottle tips or I drop the cartomizer, everything inside spills and needs to be soaked up with paper towels. Now it's a tad thicker than 60PG/40VG I used to vape before I found WTA at Aroma Ejuice, but I liked it a lot better when it was 90% VG. At first I had difficulty finding clearomizers that could burn the 90% VG without getting clogged in only a couple days, and with this new mixture weeks go by before they clog, but sometimes I think there is more than 10% PG in there, it seems more like 20% or 30%, but I don't know, I have never mixed the 2 substances myself before.

I think I was more annoyed we weren't notified, and you usually discuss changes on the site here and get our opinions first, and with this you guys didn't. That and my stiff hands and numb fingers mean I spill a lot more than when it was 90%. It was a b*tch to shake when it was 90% VG, that's for sure, so that is one advantage to the new mixture. I saved 2 full bottles from September during October and November, (in fact I am vaping it now) and September's batch was by far the most runny of all the batches, it seemed to get less runny in October and November. Were you guys trying to figure out the percentage of PG to add? Did you add the PG to reduce the thickness of the mixture? (Like molasses in January, my Mom used to tell me when I was getting dressed for Bible study.) I also notice that this mixture produces less vapor than 90% VG.

I too was trying to figure out what was going on, I don't throw my empty bottles away, and having extra lids and drip tops has come in handy before. (Also the plastic zip-loc baggies are thin instead of the thick ones, they don't feel as "premium" as the old ones, but that's not what we vape Aroma Ejuice for ... lol. I put them in the thick plastic bags I never threw away when the thin flimsy ones came.) When I have about a dozen "empties," I use a syringe and blunt needle to draw the last of the juice from the bottom, after the bottles have been tilting at a narrow degree angle for several days, and I get enough to fill up a couple clearomizers out of them, between 1/3 and 1/2 a bottle. A few times I checked, and the old bottle labels said VG, and I realized after September some said VG/PG, and others still said VG in September and October, I can't remember if they still did in November or not, so it confused me. I wasn't sure if it was a temporary thing, or permanent, which is why I saved the full bottles from September to December before I decided I should vape them before they got stale.

Several times I almost emailed Chris to ask him if the recipe for the VG base had changed, but I have been so busy with physical therapy and skin infections, I never got around to it. This month I have so many appointments and recertifications I don't have time to sleep. I am nocturnal, and don't have time with my busy schedule to sleep on my diurnal sleep schedule. I worked 18 hour days which included graveyards for nearly 20 years, and never took holidays, so I can't sleep at night anymore, no matter how tired I get.

Then my computer died mid-October, and I am briefly renting this one and just ordered one yesterday I hope to have by next week, if I am home when the sender comes, I will probably be at the doctors or physical therapists. This computer is crap, and Windows 8, don't do it, I hate it. It might be great for tablets, but not desktop computers. No more support for 64-bit browsers unless you disable all plugins, including Java. Flash comes pre-installed. They got rid of the Aero interface, and I think it's beautiful, and these All-In-One computers have no HD video or HD audio features like S/PDIF or surround sound output interface that I am familiar with. I don't want to have to get an all new Audio/Video Receiver, because they changed the interface from Optical/Coaxial digital, to HDMI digital, which can't carry as much data as optical anyway can it? Plus most of the All-In-Ones don't have High Definition sound cards anyway, or if they do no outputs to a Receiver to actually use them, and I can't see using USB speakers if you are an audiophile. Thank God I had my backup hard drive, now I better get a few more, hard drives don't last anymore, they just break like crazy. I still hadn't backed up many of my executable .exe installation setup files to software titles I bought online, because I just had a 3 year old SATA terabyte drive fail on me a year ago, and I have been slow backing up, doing just critical files instead of a complete image with OS, which I didn't want to waste the space doing. I have too many movies to make that work with Acronis, and I didn't know what else to try. This computer that died was only 3 years old also, the computer I had before that was 9 years old. It's a gimmick, they don't make anything to last anymore, so we have to be "buy" "buy" "buy" monkeys and always spending all our money on low quality, over-priced technology.

Anyway, I have been really curiousi what was going on with the PG in the Red Tail Mint Mango Berry I vape. I like the easier to shake, easier to pour, but not crazy about the easy to spill, and less vapor. To me it does taste the same, but in September's batch there was a PG chemical aftertaste, but after that I never tasted it again in the following months. Was September a tryout month in the percentage?

Chewie,

If you want please feel free to give me a call or I can call you if you wish. There has been no major change in the Red Tail line except adding new flavors and adding a very small percentage of pg. Chris is my right hand gal...she works hard in getting out the package's. She sometimes might not have a answer for you regarding the percentage of VG.

I can see that you have had some hurdles the last few months. I want you to know and this goes out to everyone else...that I'm here for you and you can call me 24.7. I'm usually up till 4-5AM and only sleep a few hours each day. Its never too late to call me.
