Hey guys, I'm new to being a member here although I have taken a peek here and there while researching what to buy next for my next vaping upgrade. Recently my ego-c twist clone from fasttech broke and I am trying to fix it to have as a back-up or a loaner. Either way I have all the parts, although the potentiometer and the plastic holder are a bit damaged from disassembly. I was wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to get such parts to repair the device

Welcome to ECF!

This site seems to have quite a selection. You probably already know this, but you need to match the electrical characteristics of the pot you are replacing. Best way is by part number if yours has one on it. Second best is to call them and discuss it with them before ordering.

Here's the link to the site:
Potentiometers | All Electronics Corp.

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!

Howdy and welcome,

I'd say ditch the Ego twist and don't try repairing it. The simple reason is there are way too many things that could go wrong and dead short the battery so for safety reasons just better off buying a new one.

For a replacement I'd go with any of the modern VV/VW (Variable voltage/variable wattage) mods out there. My personal preference is to have replaceable batteries in it as so very rarely does the physical hardware go bad, but the batteries can and do go bad after a time. These can be replaced without replacing your mod (cost savings).

Pop an aspire tank system on that thing and you got a set-up supercharged for vaping action, as with most things the start-up cost is up there first run but as I said, rarely does the hardware go bad so its kind of a one time thing and done.

Hop on in and get your feet wet, we are more then welcome to help you out, and welcome to ECF

Well I already have a mech mod on its way with an RDA but I just wanted to put this thing back together to have to use with my iClear 30 as a back up. I haven't gone through and tested everything yet but I was the one that damaged the potentiometer on accident and I purposely took all the wiring off to prevent shorts during storage because of how volatile Li-Ion battery's are so I'm hopeful that it will be repairable for a couple of bucks. Worse case scenario it ends up not working again and am left with only the mod
