I'm afraid to say it's been a frustrating month. Of course there was Hurricane Sandy and it's aftermath, which interrupted things and got us off to a slow start. But mostly it's just been that time of year when all of the suppliers and manufacturers are overloaded trying to meet the holiday rush, and the Chinese new years rush after that, so everything from samples to supplies all arrive late, and production time is hard to come by.
I guess you've noticed that the big batts aren't here yet. They're coming, but everything has been delayed at every step along the way. But it should only be a couple more weeks at most, and I'm sure you'll all love them. We're calling them simpley, the Bloog 650. They have the same reliable performance as our MaxxFusion e-cigarettes, but with 650mAh battery capacity, and are compatible both with our regular cartomizers and with the 1.6ml capacity clearomizers that we will be stocking with them. They will be 650mAh manuals with on and off feature, and they have a simple, yet useful and reliable LED battery level indicator
Besides the new big batt model, we will be adding a new accessory, leather lanyards (the most convenient way to keep your Bloog Electronic cigarette close and handy
), new 1ml clearomizers for the MaxxFusion, and we're upgrading the bottles for our Liquid Fusion with a convenient long narrow tip, and a tamper-resistant child proof cap.
We're also rolling out a whole new look for Bloog. We have a new logo and new packaging designs coming up, and to go with them we are rolling out a new website, with a new, easier to navigate design, and an intelligent shopping cart system to make your shopping experience easier than ever.
Look for all that to start rolling out in the next few weeks, and to get things started, here's a look at our new logo, the Bloog Burst!
And of course, the mystery product line should be coming soon as well. The redesign is looking fantastic. I really think the remaining issues of the mark 1 design have been solved, and I should have prototypes to test in the next two weeks or so. I really think we'll be able to debut them (finally!) by early next year.
