I've got to have one of these. It looks like I'm a little slow out of the gate though as it looks like they are sold out at the moment. What's is weird though, is that my PT1 works perfectly on the ProVari but the PT2 is restrictive. I think I'll try swapping out the bases and see if the PT2 works fine until I can get 1 (or 2) of these aerobases.

I bought the Aerotank (dual coiled) because I am impatient and didn't want to wait. The Aerotank base is sealed so it won't really leak out of the bottom and the glass and drip tip are inter-changeable (I actually have done this). You can also use the single coils in the Aerotank but not the other way around. Since the air holes are on the side of the base, you get no air flow issues.

Don't much care for the stock set up on the Aerotank because I don't like the dual coils, don't see the point but your results may vary.

I've got a Protank II on a Provari right now. The coil is supposed to be 2.5 ohm's. If i test it on my vamo it says 2.5 ohm's. When i check it on my Provari it says 2.7 ohm's. So i've set it at 4.8v, works fine !. The battery is now at 3.6v and i think it should be flat soon but i'm still getting a good draw from it, the same as when the battery was fresh. It's true what they say about the Provari, it does provide consistent vapour throughout the entire discharge of the battery. I love that !.:)

No love for the genesis style attys? I'm sure a couple of you have seen my posts expressing my love for my pyrex RSST. I love love love that tank. Just gotta get a good build on it. I might just have to try a new build on my Russian tonight though. I think I'm going to do a steel mesh/cotton hybrid build and see how that goes

They can be hard to get...vaperev.com got them in two weeks ago and they were out of stock in 2 days...my local B&M keeps saying they are coming in, now in mid March. But, a lot of people have bought them from Europe so if you can't find one when you are ready to buy that may be an option.

Congrats on quitting the analogs....so glad this set up is working for you!

If you don't want to spend the big bucks on a Kayfun right away, I can attest that cartotanks are probably the most popular delivery device for a Provari on ECF. The most popular one is the pyrex IBTanked cartotank. I've done a review of them here: IBTanked pyrex tanks review

If you are unfamiliar with cartotanks, I've done a setup guide here: Baditude's Cartotank Setup Guide

I've also done a blog on the Provari: Why Provari?

I've tried the Genesis-style RBA's (two AGA-T) and found them too time-consuming and fussy for ME. My all-day, every-day vape is an IBTanked cartotank. I've got a Kayfun on the way to try, but until then I'll be cartotanking.

Dear OP, ProTanks are nice and ProVari is nice. You may encounter airflow issues while putting the two together, because ProTanks come with bottom air uptake. To remedy this problem, do not screw your tank all the way onto your ProVari--just enough to make contact should be fine. Or get and airflow controller (like Kanger Aero base); they work very well.

Kanger AeroTank Base also known as the Aerobase

Kanger Airflow Control Valve - Protank II, Protank 3, Aerotank

I use my ProTank on my ProVari and I like it a lot. ProTanks are easy to use and deliver a very nice vape.

If you want to know more about wattage and voltage, here it is.

Good luck and happy vaping!

Congrats on your new E-Cig gear. I can't be bothered doing an RBA build at the moment, so i am happily vaping away on a Davide (which is almost identical to a PT2) on a ProVari mini. If it works for you, that's all that counts.

If you do get into RBAs (like the KayFun) or cartomizers down the road, it's helpful to have at least one totally reliable setup to vape on while figuring out new stuff.
