Are you getting odd flavors or just not as strong? It may be that your coil hasn't 'warmed up' yet. Try taking a few long, slow draws at first. It is amazing how a liquid chan change depending on how you have it, what wattage you use, the condition of the wick and coil, etc. Play around with it. Good luck and have fun!

It's always a good idea to shake up your juice before filling your atomizer. VG is heavier than the flavoring, so if not well mixed the flavoring can levitate to the top. Once you vape your juice down, what is left has a higher percentage of flavoring, so more taste. Also the longer juice is stored in bottle the more time the flavor has had to steep. Hence more enhanced flavor development once you get to the bottom of the bottle.

Thank you it makes sense perhaps my juice needs a bit of steeping

My pleasure, I just started DIY juices, and when mixing noticed how the flavoring and PG floats around on top of the thick VG. I really have to stir and roll it around well to get it to emulsify. That's why most premixed juice comes with instructions about shaking your juices. Kind of like vinegar and oil dressing, sits for a bit and will separate, needs the shake and stir before pouring over the salad.

Sometimes juices seem to have flavors that burn off in the beginning. I got some pumpkin flavor that tastes almost completely like clove when you put it in, which fades to cinnamon as you get to the bottom (unfortunately it never really tastes like pumpkin or allspice).

I had one tobacco flavor that was pretty horrid. I refilled the tank with straight unflavored and then it actually tasted like tobacco, with just the residue. It could be that, that your juice is just too strong, and that the flavor fade is making it taste right. Try diluting a little if you have some unflavored base.
