New reo-grand purchase

Hello all!

Just bought a grand been waiting on B/B for awhile. Any advice? I grabbed a 1.5ohm sometech at checkout just to try it out. I've never used atomizers which will be the next thing I research on ECF however I just figure I would get a good opinion on if I need to even go this route. I currently have a decent stockpile 510 Cartomizers, how well do carto's preform with the reo? I would think an addy would be more effective with the feed system on this mod not to mention more cost effective assuming I dont break them from not knowing what I'm doing, lol.

hi jdub, its a quick learning curve then you will love it. ive never used a carto on mine but alot of people do. go over to the reo lounge and introduce yourself.

Your 510 cartomizers will work just fine! They are easier for learning the feeding system in the REO.
You can also use the 2.0 or LR 1.5 or 1.8 atty's.
To feed the cartos or atty you push on the bottle (squonk). You can do a blind squonk where you push the bottle without firing and draw. Stop when you hear a little gurgle. Then you are ready to fire and vape.

Welcome jbub. Cartos are great on Reos. You don't even have to fill them before you use them but you can if you want. Just be sure you get plenty of juice in it before you take that first hit. If you flood it, just blow it out and start over. It's better to flood it than to dry vape it. Resurrectors work great also.

Cartos and attys both work wonderfully on a Reo.

I prefer attys for better flavor, but I've used cartos too.

Welcome aboard.I use both cartos and attys on my Reo.Both work great.It is easier to learn the squonk method on a carto first.In fact that is how I learned.

I second this. I was sent 25 of these horizontal cartos and have been using them on my Mini for almost a week now. Very nice performance. I have been using 1.5ohm 510 attys on my Grand and mini, but I find cartos last much longer on a REO than they do on any other device that doesn't bottom feed.

tl;dr: cartos will work great on your Reo Grand
