Hi all,

As much as I am still ga-ga in love with my brand new Reo, I found a tiny gouge/hole in the feed tube.

I didn't find it right away. I was still practicing my squonking technique. I would get the occasional drop of liquid on the tube and I assumed it was my fault. I know there is a learning curve. :)

This morning I wiped the bottle/tube gently with a tissue (in situ, I did not remove them), then with the door off I began to practice squonking while watching. I noticed a small bead of liquid, I dabbed it, and returned to my practice. It happened again, and again, and again. So I put on my reading glasses so I could see better, and sure enough there was a small hole/slice/gouge in the tube. It is toward the top, just a smidge below the copper tube it is connected to.

Proud new owner that I was, I took pics last night as soon as I got it opened and set up. So I opened the internal view pic and zoomed on in...sure enough I can see where the hole is. It's not easy to see unless you know what you are looking for. But here:

What is my best option/approach for fixing this? I can still vape, it's just a minor annoyance. I think I should contact ReosMods, tell them, they will probably pop a replacement tube in the mail for me and I will be all set in a few days. In the meantime, the leaking isn't so bad that I can't just dab it off every so often. I just wanted to make sure I was on the best path...

Again...still ga-ga...this device is so awesome!

I actually feel sorry for anyone that has to / chooses to vape off anything but a REO.

They're just so hassle free and I know that if there ever was something that needed to be addressed, I have Rob, and all you guys and Chiquitas to help. Life is good.

I've made that mistake once and I mean once cause I went back to reo and I won't make that mistake again! :D shame on me for selling but now I've got reo 2.0 metal and its even better than 14500 :). REOs and Rob all the way!

I dig my mini! They are little vape beasts no?

It's a good thing that you don't do the photos for Robs website. If the uneducated saw (from pix like yours) how tight a REO is, They would likely sell out quicker and maybe cost more!

Commie, Did you make any mods that were any good? I'm surprised that no one ever tried to make one from a Sonicare - oh wait, I think soscari did.

Not sonicare, I generally don't like the form factor of tubes.

Let me see, I did a few double barrel flashlight mods (one barrel for battery, one for switch and enclosed tank)
3 Altoids mods, all with enclosed tanks/vivi novas. One was with a power booster and touch switch. Loved the booster, hated the touch switch
1 slightly botched double barrel copper tube bottom feeder. Maybe more than slightly -- finished it, used it, sealed with epoxy, and then the 510 connector's gasket got smashed and shorted. Can't open it to fix
1 copper tube mechanical mod for dripping and testing RBAs

I'm generally a big fan of non-phallic mods with tank/carto/atomizer protected by the mod somehow, or at least not sticking too far out on a flimzy connection. I carry them in my pockets, and have kids 2-8 years old. Cartos and tanks don't last me very long. I'm actually surprised that not many places mass-produce that form of a mod, even though tank sizes are relatively standard.

*THAT* is superior service, sir. I've spent nearly 8 months reading what others have to say about their Reo, and two things have stood out loud and clear. 1. Quality workmanship and durability 2. Rob stands by his work.

The first was immediately obvious upon holding the device the first time. The second was proved right here.
