I had a mini and I sold it so I could get a Grand. I'm loving it (except for the occasional over-squonk -- gotta work on that). Next up will be a RM2!

Yeah, the RM2 is next on my list. I've seen a picture someone posted with a black RM2. I'll have to look for it, but I assume he did it himself as I don't see them on Rob's site.

Standard for the RM2 is the chrome finish. You can get a brass one, but to do that, you need to ask redeyedancer (Rob) in a PM or email.
I can't remember whose RM2 is black or how it was done.
Congrats!! I love the finish on your grand. Oh and definitely go for the rm2, there will be no disappointment.

I found the black Reomizer. User darkzero posted it in the button problems thread. It looks amazing!

Edit: I see now that it's not a Reomizer. Does anyone know what it is? An Octopus maybe?
I'm guessing it's a bottom feeder compatible ERA with a black Octopus top cap. Dan Patrick told me they fit the ERA. As far as I know, the Octopus has a sealed center post and can't be used on bottom feeders.
