New REOnaut, some questions (ERA v2, Button Problem)

So i got my REO.. a week or two ago? in trade for my Electric Angel mod - and very happy I did.

Some questions / issues:

1) ERA is listed as a compatible atomizer, so I tried to thread on my ERA v2 (my preferred drip atomizer) which has a threaded base instead of an o-ring base - the base plate won't get past the entrance to the drip well. Anyone else have this problem? I'm in a group buy for stuff from the phillipines, was going to pick one up, but if it don't fit, I'm better off with my dual air hole hornet (vapes like a dream) or buying an ERA v1.5 and drilling out a second air hole

2) I got the button cap, and since installing it, my button sticks occasionally, and no longer locks. I installed it as per the directions in the little bag it came in, using the little white plastic sheathing. Is this a common issue, do I need to send my REO into service (please say no, I haven't gotten another one yet and I'm loathe to be without it) or is it something I can fix myself?

The era should fit a grand I haven't changed any dimensions on the mod
When you installed the button did you make sure the mod was in the locked position ?

yes, i made sure to set the button to lock before installing it. I'm going to give the button a day or so and see if it works in, but its still sticking occasionally.

I've double checked the ERA v2, I haven't tried pushing the atomizer around as I'm installing it, but I'm not going to wiggle the connector in the REO to see if i can jam it in.

To my knowledge, there is no way to get the ERA v2 in the US - myvape.in doesn't sell it, I was just lucky enough to have a friend in the Phillipines over the Christmas holidays.

I can find hardly any information on it, other than it being the same post design as the ERA 1.5, but having a single o-ring and a threaded cap and an air hole on each side of the cap, rather than a single air hole (I've modded my hornet for my REO to dual hole as well)

Right now I'm just looking for that perfect atomizer to fit on my perfect mod (thank you so much for that), and from my collection of drippers, the ERA v2 (with dual 1mm air holes, stock is something like dual 0.8mm) is really the best I have - I want a chalice but out of my current budget and hard to find.

If i have to use an ERA v1.5, which is far more commonly available and I know works on the REO grand, i'll just drill a second air hole and be done with it, no worries.

Sounds like you may have some dirt or sand in the button. Happens to me all the time.

how does one clean / dissassemble the button to remove such schmutz?

Usually just take batt out remove atty and run under hot water. A few times Ive had to strip it right down. Stuff like asphalt can be kinda difficult to just wash out. Try the bath first. Can't hurt. Just dry when done.

Just a heads up. If anyone happens to stumble upon a ERA 2.0, they won't fit the Reo Grand.

Also this when I questioned his source:

A guy on another forum confirmed it. They aren't available in the states yet so probably no need to worry. However, I contacted indyvapors yesterday in regards to when they would be getting more SS ERAs in and they told me it would be a while because they were getting a "new" version. They carry the 1.5 now so hopefully their new version isn't the 2.0. There will be a lot of salty people around here if this is the case.

I'm still waiting for a response from the Budz Works team but what I'm hearing from everyone is that the ERA V2 is basically made for dripping and not for the Reo but the V1 and V1.5 work nicely

3 v1 ERAs here. o-ring in the reservoir sees to it that I don't over tighten and keeps all the juice in the atty. Me likey.
