Has anyone else noticed their RX200s getting VERY warm during light vaping? Not the batteries, but the front near the screen, and the top. Even the base of my Nautilus tank is quite warm to the touch when I took it off the mod.

Only vaping a 1.8ohm coil at 11 watts, using Sony VTC5 batteries
Mine gets warm too. It seems like I can't reproduce it consistantly. When I first got it, it seemed like it got warmer and may have mellowed out a little.
I was told that it has a negative impact on the batteries and the RX200.... I'm not sure why that would be though??

Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Charging 2 batteries, then the third would mean that the first two rested a couple hour before installation. Not too much a problem once or twice, but the difference in voltage could become accumulative over time. It's really best to charge them all at once.

For inexpensive and reliable, get the Intellicharger i4. For all in, get the Enova Gyrfalcon All-88 I just reviewed...

Controlled Coil: REVIEW: Enova Gyrfalcon All-88 Professional Multi-charger

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

Yeah, that's way too much money for me.... :'(

I only have a 2 bay charger also. So is it a rumor that I need to charge all 3 batteries at the same time? If so who makes a nice affordable 4 bay battery charger? The 2 bay charger I have now is the LUC by Efest. It's been a really good charger and I've had it for almost 2 years and it's still kicking it! :D

I guess I could use the USB/MAC/PC to charge it up, how many days to charge it that way on dead batteries? 3 days? :)

I use the xtar vp4

Nitecore D4 is also an option. I'm currently "stuck" with a D2, so I also charge two batteries at a time...
I'm sort of wondering if it makes any difference, how you put your batteries in. Is it "better" to have the two batteries that charged at the same time as parallel(and the odd one in series), or as series(and odd one parallel), or if it makes no difference what so ever.

Yeah I can afford that. [emoji12]

How is it? Is it cheaply made, cheap plastic? Is all the power coming from the plugin box? I heard those are the best. What about a Efest 4 bay? My 2 bay LUC Efest has been great and you can switch it on the back from .5 to 1 amp charging... and it has a USB port so you can throw in charged batteries and use the USB port to charge USB Devices (cell phone, iPod, etc, etc).

I like it, the first charger I bought.
Mine isn't completely flat on the bottom, has a slight rock to it. But overall it's great. It is a plastic housing
When charging 2 batteries, can output 1 amp in the 2 out side slots. When 3 or 4 are being charged, .5amp max across all, can also drop to .25amp.
The 2 middle slots are a little hard to remove, spaced closer together.

All in all, it's a great charger.

I bought some of the shims from kidney puncher this week, but I have been using shims I made from an old credit card that I drilled a hole in the middle of. some atty's I have to use 2 of them. I just traced the bottom of my tank/drippers cut them and drilled the center out, works fine until you can order shims, also I noticed at tractor supply hardware store you can get them for like $2 but the center hole is to small they need to be drilled

so just to confirm what I already believed to be true, the rx200s came in today. EXACT same 510 connector. so the "new connector" part is completely untrue. but I will say the spring in the 510 is more stiff. all im going to say is be super careful cranking down attys mod savers are still a must for me and at least on mine I still have a gap, small but still a gap, almost like they slightly raised the 2 pieces on the outside of the 510, so maybe you have .5mm more depth. MAYBE. going to start putting it through it's paces and find out.

I disagree completely. Even a visual inspection of the 510 on my 3 Reulis shows the 510 on the S is deeper.

I don't have any other Reuleaux to compare with, but have to chime in anyway. Every single tank I've tried (granted, have only 5 on me at the moment), sit quite flush on the mod. And that's without tightening them more than on XCII, or VTC Mini. With quite flush I mean I see no difference what so ever...

Well I know both the Reuleaux RX200 and the DNA200 measures flush from the top of the mod to the pin is 3.9mm with my caliper. And with a pressed down 510 pin, it is 4.6mm. Wismec also mentioned that any atty with the 510 longer than 4.6mm voids the warranty.

Depth of my RX200S, just measured with calipers right now, is 4.1. I'll depress to 4.8.

If it isn't straight up and down, you get a longer measurement (doesn't take much). And if you press down you will feel some resistance almost all of the way down. This was 4.6mm for me on four Reuleaux mods, so this is where Wismec says you shouldn't push down further. But you can and it feels more rubbery than springy down there and can get it down to 5.1ish if you try hard enough. But I believe you are doing damage down that far.

That's the difference, though, between the RX200, and rather RX200S... better 510...
We hope anyway. Since there isn't anymore room inside of a RX200S than a RX200 or DNA200, I don't know how they could get a deeper 510 in there? Any longer than the original and you have to cut away into the battery sled to get it to fit.

.2 mm imo isnt much better could be the harder press as soon as I feel it want to stop I stop and side by side I have the same gap with 2 of the same atty's. they have the same thread count same actual pin same o-ring .2mm isnt an improvement. only time will tell. im not sating anyone is right or wrong, but in my video review i know my opinion is going to be they are the same, I will refrence this thread and say that with a caliper on the rx200 and dna 200 its 4.6 and it was measured at 4.8 but im sure most will agree that that's not the "impovement that the masses were led to belive. they should have siomply replaced the 510 not changed the 510 spring. or stated that it was an improved 510 spring not improved 510 connector. thank you for measuring though
