I've installed a new search system called "threadloom". I want to give it a whirl and see how it performs compared with our existing search.

Love the sort options.

Parts are hard to read on the Dark theme.

Easier on the eyes.
Seems to be/have more relevant, less false positives, addition of matched users. more options.
First impressions: a keeper.

I like the way it's organized. In terms of accuracy, I had problems with my first search. I searched "amor" and limited it to the last year, and it didn't find any results. Google found quite a few, though, also limited to the last year.

For me, the search doesn't seem to be finding all of the posts that I know exist for certain topics. IDK

Again, google/bing did better.

I searched for things I knew that I had recent conversations with several about - the Smoant Battlestar, the Fireluke Tank, a few others, and there were a lot of recent posts that weren't shown in the results.

Anyone else prefer the default to be Date rather than Relevance?

OK, it MIGHT be because it's still indexing that these posts aren't showing up. Apols for the inconvenience, but I want to get it a fair run. I'll send this thread to the dev team.

Really like the New Search function, especially the ability to sort and/or add additional criteria to narrow down what you are looking for on the forum or thread . . .

However, I actually prefer the "older" way to open & go directly to a post in the results by "clicking" on the content instead of the title of the Thread now to go to the specific post . . .

Wonder if that is a possibility ? ? ?

It's been working nicely Oliver, easy to view and the results are concise.

This trial search seems to work better IMHO
ability to refine search is easy to do and works!
