New setup arrived

I had ordered a KGO last weekend as well as some resurrector cartos from CCV, and my cartos finally came in today. Still waiting on the stockpile of sample juices I've purchased at a couple of places, but did pick up some 12mg Black n Mild from CCV as well. That stuff is thick!

I had tried some 24mg RY4 juice from a friend this week, and it had way too much of a throat hit for me. It felt like it was burning my throat. But this 12mg Black n Mild in this setup is heaven! Very nice throat hit that doesn't make me cringe, and the Black n Mild is pretty tasty. Doubt it will ever be my daily vape, but it doesn't suck. Does anyone by chance know what the ratio of this stuff is? Their website doesn't say.

Also, thanks again to those that helped guide me to my 2nd PV. I'm loving my KGO!

I do not know that Juice specifically but if it is really thick you can be sure it really heavy on the VG

...good to hear you got your kit and digging it...a question, is the CCV Black n Mild a very dark juice...you can probably contact CCV and ask the ratios...they have always been responsive to my emails...........

Yes, it is rather dark. I'll see about e-mailing to find out what it is.

One other question. After filling the carto, I looked down the center held up against some light, and I can't see any light coming through. Is that bad? It does draw harder than smaller e-cigs I've tried, so I'm not sure if I flooded it, or if it's the juice. I tried blowing on one end but no light is coming through still. Or is this normal for these cartos?

...you should be able to see thru the carto...after filling, I always give a short hard blow on the barrel end...as thick as the juice seems to be, it may take a bigger blow...is it making any gurgling sounds(a sign it is overfilled)????

It was gurgling a little. I used the syringe to fill it, and used it again to try and extract some back out, but it really isn't grabbing much. I blew out the end a couple of times and could finally see a small bit of light, but not much.

It gurgles a little still, but not much. I filled the syringe to 2ml, so I'll go 1.5 from now on and top off with drips. Does heavy VG juice take less to fill a carto than PG?

I wouldn't think so BUT it would take longer to wick/absorb into the filler...the same applies to vaping it, be careful not to vape to fast or you may end up scorching/burning the carto filler...not a good thing...you can thin the juice with a couple of drops of distilled water or PGA/vodka...just a couple r 3 r 4 drops per ml would probably be enough......

If the juice you have is heavy in VG it will be thick and could degrade the drag of a carto. I just use the simple Boge cartos but I stick with thin juices (20% or less VG) and stay away from cloudy or speckled ones that drop a lot of flavoring sediment in the stuffing.

Wow, got replies from them even this late into the evening (or early morning). Turns out it's on the label, but I didn't see the VG because the other end of the label was covering it. The juice is 85% VG.
