I ordered myself some new eliquids (moving onto DIY next - another topic all together) in 6mg, because after 2 weeks of vaping I'm moving onto DI or DLI if you prefer. Got myself some berry flavours, that were meant to arrive today, alas they did not and might not arrive for another week !

But, in my excitedness I decided to go out and buy myself a new mod i've been eyeing - an evic vtwo 5000mah and bought myself a crown rose gold tank. I've only heard positives about crown, and trying it today the airflow is huge ! Big plus for me.

All I have is my 18mg tobacco flavoured liquid for my mtl in my melo3.
I have this new toy, and I can't even use it for maybe another week ! The excitement is killing me ! :p

point of query: another vaper on this forum suggested it's imperitive to get a mod with an external 30amp battery if i'm to be using the crown. is this really neccesary? i feel like at 50w, 5V, my new internal battery device should be more than capable of firing 10amp and above (although it's not actually specified anywhere what its max volt & amp capabilities are).

pics to come of my lonely, lonely new plaything.

Heya, I feel your pain, I hate waiting... Are there no local vape shops where you are that you could just pick up a small bottle of something to hold yourself over until your order comes in?

On your question there, I'd be kind of curious to see how one of the more experienced people respond. I'm pretty new to everything but after googling the unit and tank I would think that would work just fine.. Like I said though, I'm new to everything here. There could absolutely be something I don't know about that I'm not considering...

Good Luck!

Thanks for the quick reply :)
Unfortunately over here in Australia we can buy tanks, mods, flavours, pg, vg, and juice without nicotine.
Selling nic liquid in Australia is illegal, cause we're a big ole ..... for big tobacco. I have to important all my juice,
and soon DIY supplies. Shipping sometimes costs twice the amount of what i'm ordering. Still cheaper than smokes though!

I thought it would work fine too ! And if there were danger of reaching max voltage or amps, you'd really think they'd include that information. It sits nice and flush, i'm so excited. Only wish my store had the burgundy or orange mods in stock :(
Knowing me ill get a gold mvp3 soon though. Shiny things are nice.

thanks :) i see this in my manual. i was just wondering why some manufacturors decide to include max voltage and ampage capabilities where as some do not? not that it's super relevant.

Nah, you're fine with the device you got.
Actually mods with built-in battery are safer, especially if you're a rookie.

cool :) that's what i thought ! better to ask and recieve help then go off thinking i know what's best when my experience is very limited. i hope to become knowledgeable enough that i can help contribute here one day. everyone has been so kind

Ah, ok, I see what your saying. Still because your device is regulated you should be just fine. I have never seen amperage capabilities in regulated mod manuals, or at least the ones I have. Guess they feel they don't need to mention it.

3 that i have owned haven't said either, but noticed the coolfire iv mentions both.
just seems like they should, for transparency. i get it doesn't make a difference and they're not going to say
you can fire it at 80w with your 0.15 temp control if you can't, but i'm a stickler for the facts! :)

Could cut your liquid down to 4.5mg. or less. You would be vaping near flavorless liquid thought.
(Halving 10ml of 18mg = 20ml of 9.5 mg. '''etc./ could use 50/50 or whatever PG/VG).

No need to get an external. Not sure of your manufactures chemistry (LiPo ?), but an internal may be more safer than an external and last longer over the long run not to mention may help deliver a better vape.

Could I just go 10ml of 18mg.
3ml of flavouring. Then 17ml of vg/pg to get 6ml without sacrificing too much flavour? :)

You will have to experiment. Some folks vape flavorless PG/VG and just add as little as 1/2 % of flavor or no flavor. It might be a good idea to take notes on whatever you do so you will have a record of it.
