so this is the new signature I wrote up for myself, after reading some really funny threads. (you know the ones)

due to extreme controversy, all members are now legally required to list all kr808d-1 models as "generic, exactly the same as all the others, kr808d-1 non specific vendor model" all members are also now required to list every vendor known to carry this model, as well as Shenzhen Kanger Technology Company's contact information. we hope this will not cause any inconvenience to you, our loyal members. thank you.

I checked those threads a few times...you know, curiosity does kill the cat.

I just didn't enjoy being called names, being insulted, then called out for not participating in what essentially were pointless, childish threads.

Why post in a thread (s) where I am simply being baited by a few douches who are just waiting to pounce on you and tear apart whatever you are going to say?

I did learn a few things though.....most importantly, to quietly make my point by spending what dollars I have where they count.

The last thing I am going to do is feel bad for:

a) wanting to quit smoking analogs
b) help out others who may be in need
c) not whining, kicking and screaming like a 12 year old

just think of it like this, if there was a forum about breakfast cereal (there probably is), would you get into an argument about who's cornflakes were the best (there probably is a thread about that on that forum)?
and then someone would say, "i bought one of each, and found that they were all identical"

I think that Steve behaved like a total gentleman and thats why his customers love him.He is a great guy,running a great business.We share and care about eachother and that makes the V4L subforum so cool to be a part of!!!

This is one subject that truely pisses me off! Its out right Prejudice!

I refuse to go to other competitors forums and make posts about them , their products or how they handle their business UNLESS I am a customer of theirs making a comment on a product I use or I am wishing to buy from them and want info! When one of another competiors members comes on our forum and makes smearing remarks it reflects on the competior ( not in a good way ) ! AND even though many of other competitors members may do this I belive WE are better then that! V4L has a great product and is a great company! I for one will not let my actions besmirch their reputation like some of thier members do to theirs! ( also try to remember thier companys owners ideals do not nesecaryily reflect all of their members as well)
I think we have a wonderful group of people here who can think outside the box and be better then that! AND yes I may have the V4L banner for my sig but IF there is another company who I used and had as much great service with then I would ALSO add theirs and promote theirs as well ( I am FAIR person) I think most of us here are! It's is what keeps bringing me back to the forums everyday! We have many members here who use other companys products and we never slam them, disreguard anything they say just because they have another companys banner, or treat them any different then everyone else! Predjuice is a very painful, evil thing and I am glad to see most of us are beyond that! But is is also a 2 edged sword!
Many of the competors may feel they are being prejuidced against as well since technically we all have the same product and I have thought long and hard about if I would remove my banner because of this! I decided that I would not because I actually buy from and belive in V4L! If I also bought from Vapornine, Nhailer, or any of the others and I liked and belived in their products I would also add their sigs unfortunately I don't have a couple of millions of dollars to invest in trying everyones products so they will just have to wait till I get arround to trying them!

Regarding that other thread, I too was a part of it. I got sucked in, but for a different reason. I've seen several threads from that other supplier bashing, berating, and ridiculing us, and couldn't put it off anymore. I had to let him know my thoughts. (And of course, I got bashed, berated, and ridiculed.)

I do have a question, though. I was away for a couple of days, and didn't get to see Steve's post before it was deleted, so can anyone reiterate, or PM me, his entry? Just interested in his thoughts!

Steve simply came in, gave some information about the VK model, quoted some chat text from his Kangar rep in regards to the differences in models and carts....wished Drew the best, and that was it.

He was very classy about it without flinging poo.

I saw the threads before they were removed. Prior to that, I was going to try the other guy's juice. I was turned off immensely by his bashing of the competition. It made him look bad, as well as when he insulted existing and potential customers. As far as I'm concerned, no matter how tight my budget, if the "other guy" were to put all his juices on a half-off sale, I still would not buy from him now...not after the things I saw yesterday. Kudos to Steve for remaining mature and professional.

I didn't see the nasty posts everybody's talking about, but I've heard the same tune on other forums. To me, it's very unpleasant and not what I want to see on a board. We tend to expect suppliers/dealers/manufacturers to take the high road on forums. Nice to see that Steve did exactly that. Makes me feel good about where I'm spending my $.

The bad part about it is that it wasn't only that one thread, it was every "they are all the same" or "this is better than that" thread that was commented on in the same manner/tone. Very surprising actually.
