New Silver Bullet at 6 & 5 volts

Hello everyone,

I know altsmoke does not recommend using the SB at 6v stacked, but can it be used with the new 5volt 18650's?

Did altsmoke change the milling of the SB so it no longer takes stacked batteries at 6 volts or am I thinking of another mod?

Ps I'm looking at one of these. another ecf member wants to trade one. So this will be my first SB. How long does the switch last has anyone had any switch problems and then they be fixed or replaced?

The Sliver Bullet will take stacked batteries. It was the BB that was modified to not take stacked batteries.

Thanks guys, I don't plan on using this PV at 6volts, its too high for me, but I would like to try the new 5volt (4.8) 18650. Anyone every try this? Has altsmoke said anything about using these batts?

Thanks Wolf. I'm not to keen on having this thing explode on my face and will keep it at 3.7 unless Chad says otherwise. The 5volt batteries are not lithium so this could make it much safer, but still will wait for his opinion.

No problem. I think you'll find a big difference from most other 3.7v mods. Chad's mods and a few others out there have much higher quality insides than a lot of what is being offered. You may decide to stick with 3.7v.

I've got both the silver & the silver vein SB. Since I got me first SB, has it been almost 2 years?, there hasn't been a day I have not had it with me.

I am a 5v or 6v guy. Just last week I got my first mod tank that uses a CE2 atty with a 18650 3.7v single battery. I may never go to either 5v or 6v ever again. The vapor production is off the charts & I can taste the flavor of the juice much easier than ever before.

Chad & Rob, if you would like to see people give up stacking batteries, start offering these tanks & CE2 attys on your site!

I use my SB with the 5V (4.8V) battery all the time. It's schweeeeeeeeeeet!!

Same here. I am using 2.6 & 2.8 ohm CE2. Love it !!!
