I went to my local vapor store and bought a pack of my usual ST Duel-coil 1.5. When I got home and opened the package, I was surprised. These cartomizers were a little bit larger and wider than the regular ones, with "smok Duel coils" stamped on it, and a plastic flat whistle tip on it. These aren't the mega ego sized, just an in between size.
The first one I used, I filled it with the strong TV "Atomic Cinnacide" and it tasted great, for a long time. Because the Cinnamon is strong I couldn't Taste the Major flaw, until I started using more mellow flavors in the other ones.
THE MAJOR FLAW IS: THE PLASTIC TIP. IT STINKS LIKE TIRE RUBBER. Anyhow, the smell of the cheap plastic tip gets into the taste of the vapor, and the hotter the cartomizer gets, the stronger the taste. You can't put a drip tip or another tip on it because it is a little fatter than the other ones. I do like the whistle tips better than the other shaped tips, but not when they taste and smell like these do.
I don't understand how this one got passed SmokTech, but I do love their cartomizers. I am using the rest of these cartomizers, but without the tip. And I will start buying this new size in place of the standard D-C, When they make their whistle tips with better plastic.
