Hi, so after 2 weeks using my Nickel coil atomizer... I changed it to SS... I guess I put too much juice to prime it that is why there's crackling sound and some juice when inhaling... Is flooding the term???

So since I already filled my topbox tank... is there a way to fix that flooding? or in time? it will go away???

What is the correct settings for the new atomizer with SS coil???

Current: TC SS, SS coiled atomizer, 200F...

Please help...

Same thing happens with my Smok Koopor Plus 200W. It works fine with Titanium and Nichrome, but will blow hot air with juice pops and crackling on SS316. The problem is in the firmware. You might want to try turning your TCR (temperature control resistance) down to the minimum value and working upwards from there.

A firmware update might fix it. I can't update the Smok mod because it requires a EPROM writer and won't update from the USB port alone. For $40 I can buy a new TC mod and just vape Kanthal, Titanium, and Nichrome in the Smok.

SS can be used in power mode or temp mode. In power mode turn the watts down very low to start, maybe 10 watts, then vape it and if it's not too hot turn it up to 12 and vape. Keep doing this until it is a satisfactory vape for you, if it gets too hot or tastes burnt turn down the power.

The flooding should go away with vaping, or a Q-tip can be gently inserted through the drip tip into/to the coil to soak up excess juice. Cheers.

It may be yoy primed the wick too much. But its also possible there is not enough wick.

Insufficient wicking causes popping and spitting
