This is all a bit confusing for me as I keep it simple with basic battery, coils and 18 mg. nicotine, so I will simply congratulate you on switching to vaping and wish you the best as I listen in on the continuation of this discussion!
Thanks @Heavy Smoker, just out of interest. What Watts does your battery output? And do you inhale straight to lungs or mouth to lungs?

I vape both MTL and direct. Can't really explain this at all.
Sometimes, I forget what I'm vaping 'on' and it can go a bit wrong.
Today, I've been using a sub-ohm tank with a Nautilus drip tip. Maybe I'm just messed up? o_O
Haha!! I've been doing the same today. Can't use my sub Ohm though, I burn though Liquid like mad with that it's too nice.

What's the worse that has happened @djsvapour?

Ooh, I'm not sure. Most mishaps involve coughing and regretting.
One morning I tried MTL with a genuine 30w direct lung set-up and spent a good few minutes wondering how I wasn't able to get past about 2.3 seconds puff time without feeling like my cheeks were going to explode.

Haha oh I have definitely been there when before when I had just started. So much trial and error before I found my sweet spot (using a sub-ohm chart as reference of course). The coughing is just not the best thing in the world lol

I would try more nicotine like 6MG+. I know you are new to everything but start looking up DIY e juice as you will save a lot of money, just takes patience but be careful when dealing with nicotine. Would be a shame for you to go back to smoking due to being more expensive than smoking.
I've had a quick look into it. Think I would have to buy PG or VG with Nicotine in already, I have two 9-year-olds and a 1-year-old running around the house so just not worth the risk.

My plan at the moment is just try different juices etc for a month or 2 while I get used to it. Then maybe I'll look into making my own once I know flavours I like and I settle on a Nicotine strength. Currently using a fruity/mint/menthol mix 12MG 50/50, Got 30ml for £5!! Seems has worked for over 48 hours now and I'm not left feeling I want a real cig hit all the time.
