Well, it's hard to have a rational debate on the matter. We've already been demonized; we're already the enemy. Facts be damned.

This how I like to picture a lot of anti-vaping/smoking advocates (cough Stan Glantz):

Great find AA. I wonder if Dr Siegel will have comment about this, he's certainly been asked about it now. It's also amazing that I've heard not a whisper in the main stream media about this study. I suppose the evidence of the danger is irrefutable because it's been reported a billion times.

I'm waiting for the report on the news that eighteenth-hand smoke, carried on a dollar bill, might kill me.

I was always a little skeptical about second-hand smoke, and laughed uproariously when hearing about third-hand. It simply doesn't make sense to anybody with any scientific knowledge.

Therein lies the problem most now believe the first big lie, second hand smoke kills, so it's easier to push the others. Most don't stop to think beyond researchers at xyz, led by Dr Any PHD will do, see Stan Glantz, said.

Good article. I like, too, how the commenters mention that now that the non smoking RICH people are dying from LC, ALA & others are re opening the closed case for reexamination. They'll probably invent a new cause for LC.

Now, off into my conspiracy world...
I recently watched a video explaining how the bad guys (illuminati?) have plans of spreading disease in the dust. A fungus among us, if you will. (Where they saw these plans, I haven't a clue, but that's besides the point right). Anyway, many lung cancer survivors are survivors because they decided to treat their lung cancer like a fungus... Don't ya just love it when a plan comes together? :).
Treatment? Something about baking soda and I forget what else, and angioplasm and I don't know. It was probably on thetruthergirls at YT if anybody's bored like I was & want to delve into the deep end. But shhhhh, don't tell anybody I sent ya, I need to keep a little bit of honor.

Uma, that's enough of such conversation. Now you're going to get the drug companies talking to the ?non-profit?"health" associations to get them to petition the FDA to make baking soda a drug delivery system for angioplasm and that other thingy you can't remember and we won't be able to get bvaked goods.
