Anyway, this is an example of what they did with the tech.

Coleman's FlashCell: Yes, a Cordless Screwdriver That Really Charges in 90 Seconds - Popular Mechanics

I've read other people say that an ultra super whatever-capacitor won't work to power a mod, because:

They are too dangerous because they exlplode (they do, if you zap them with too much power), they release energy too quickly, etc.

Then I read articles that were discussing their use as enhancements to battery power, instead of replacing batteries. Makes the batteries last a lot longer. Changes the voltage without a lot of wasted energy. Stuff like that.

I figure drain it, disassemble it, and see how small the power supply can be made. Try to keep it round at the bottom so you can use their charger. If it'll turn 27 screws into wood, that's gotta draw more power than one of our atty's. Only way to find out is with a screwdriver and a soldering iron. Maybe I'll buy two, so I can use one to disassemble the other :p

Guys on a flashlight mod site were estimating it at 600mah, so it should give an average user 6+ hours on a 90 second charge.

Maybe all of us old craftsman on here can take all of our old cordless drills and mod them, heck we can just leave them in the charger over night and then vape all day off of them???????????hahahah

DOH! I have a few of those in my garage... guess what i'm doing tomorrow?

LOL! Dewalt drills are too expensive to be tearing apart for a mod.

NOW he tells me!
