It's been a few years since I last posted. I have an Eleaf PICO on the way--mod only.

I've been vaping happily along with my VAMO's and VV Ego's, using Protank II's, X10's and Evod clearo's.

I'm interested in one of those newfangled tanks that might match up well with the PICO.

I'm no cloud chaser so I'm not driving that thing at 75w, but I would like a nice new tank with coils that can handle a 25w-30w load and last a while. Price is important, but I'm no cheapskate and will pay for quality.

What's available for around $20? $30?

Mt Baker Video has clearance on Kanger Subtank mini. It is the older bottom fill version not the toptank but cheap at $13.98 with a couple of coils in the box a 1.2 ohm coil and .5 ohm coil as well as the version 2 RBA in the box.

Can be used for MTL with the 1.2 ohm coil or 1.5 ohm ssocc coils. The RBA comes with a couple precoiled .5 ohm coils and some cotton. You can build coils to your own spec or buy the premade coils for it. They have only the white or stainless versions

Have 2 of them and like them. Some say they leak, but I haven't had that problem.

The Nautilus 2 with the 0.7 coils would be a small step up from what you are currently using. I vape those around 18 Watts. Good flavor and a decent amount of vapor. If you want more vapor the Vaporesso Estoc and Veco tanks with the 0.5 Ohm Ceramic EUC coils are wonderful. Coils last forever and they produce a lot of vapor and great flavor. I vape those anywhere from 30-40 Watts.

I bought an Eleaf Pico ages ago, the kit version and it came with a Melo 2 tank. It is a very good tank and delivers good vapor and flavor. I just looked and it's still being sold, 4.5 ml capacity, the Pico now comes with the melo 3 tank with a 2.5 ml capacity. I prefer the RBA tanks myself.

I rather like the bleeding (as opposed to the leading) edge of vaping technology. That way, y'all can spend the money, take the lumps and tell me what to avoid.

My brother kept his Melo 3 and just sent me the mod. I'm batting the Kanger and Vaporesso models around. Other suggestions welcome!

Are you a builder or interested? If yes, Serpent Alto!! I think it hits all your boxes. Phenomenal at 25-30W, great flavor, good vapor, single coil. Small capacity but lasts a decent amount since you don't want to build crazy low in something like that. It's also well built; my dog and I got attacked by a pit and I was holding my 30W with the Alto on it, which survived getting thrown far on concrete pavement. Had a vape band, but still. If not a builder or uninterested in building, can't really help :( I like my Melo 3 Minis. There's always the SMOK TFV8 Baby beast, too. I use mine on the Pico a ton with the .4 and .6 ohm coils.

I always think it's nice when you can sit back and go over reviews before buying. The Pico fits into that category very well, I bought the Pico 25 and I'm still trying to get it to work with the Smok TFV8 tank in temp mode with SS coils. I looked through the manual and maybe I messed up a setting, no reset to factory defaults.
Anyways I have the Smok G-Priv touch screen and think its great. Much better at navigating through the menus instead of click this then click that. Great at SS Clapton coils which I could never get to work in earlier mods.
