I got my Brunhilde today. Actually it got to the Post Office a couple days ago, but I couldn't get up there until this morning. Wow! What a beautiful piece of art it is! The pictures of it that I've seen here got me to get one. I've had a lot of little things jumping in the way of trying it, and I just can't wait. After the 5 and 6 yr old boys go to bed I might have some peace and quiet so I can build it and test it out. I'll probably just use one of the 1 ohm coils that it came with, and I'll probably wick it wrong the first time. It's been such a long time since I've had a liquid leak that I miss 'em..

Well I washed and built it last night. To my surprise, my first wicking attempt was successful! I am very happy with this beautiful tank, and it's 5 ml capacity means there'll be 4-6 days between refills. I only plan to use it with my Cold Steel and Armor mods. It fits alright on top of my iStick, but it rubs ever so slightly against the battery cap on my Pico, which is dwarfed by the tank anyway. So no home for it there, to avoid the chances of scratches. I might use it on my Sir Lancelot mech too, but probably not with the supplied 1 ohm coil..

I'm about to go view some YouTube vids, but I'll ask here too. The first fill of the tank went flawlessly, but I'm having difficulties refilling it. The eliq won't go where it's supposed to, in fact it won't go in at all. The eliq level was down to about a 1/4 tank, should I wait till it's more empty or refill when it's less empty than it was? I ended up refilling it by taking the top cap off, pulling one of the rods out and refilling thru that hole.

BTW, I'm using the 4th largest air flow screw if that matters at all, and I tried first refilling with the cap on (with it in the right position of course) and the refilling thru the fill hole with the cap off.

I really like the brunhilde, but the filling is it's weak spot, only 1 small hole to fill and no way for the air to escape from the tank as it fills up.

I drilled the fill hole bigger, and it is better now, I do still have to be careful though, to fast and get juice going down the tank on the outside.

Another one in the Brunhilde Club;) Welcome:thumb:
I've always found it helps filling my Brunhilde's up by giving her a good tilt, about a 45 degree angle, and slowly straighten up as it fills. A nice pointy tip e-liquid bottle most definitely helps as well.
I've never had any problems filling mine up.

    I do hope this helps:)

The 4 vids I've watched so far are all the same 'review type' tutorials. I will note that in the review I watched shortly after unboxing the tank, and the ones that I've just watched, I agree with the reviewers that the tank is beautifully crafted.

The two different types of 'filler bottles' I use are a 30 ml one and a 10 ml one. Both are 'needle tipped', with the tip of the 10 ml bottle being smaller (in diameter) than the 30 ml one. The tip of the 10 ml bottle fits all the way into the filler hole, with some 'headroom' to spare. The tip on the 30 ml bottle won't go all the way in like the other, but it does go down into the filler holes cone a bit.

With my first fill I used the 30 ml bottle and the top cap was on (so there was only a little or no 'air escape point'), but like I said before, during the refill it didn't matter whether the cap was on or off or which bottle I used. The only way I could refill it was by pulling one of the wire ropes out and using its' hole, so airflow may be the issue here. The tip on the 30 ml bottle completely covers the fill hole, and the first fill went fine.

I already checked the whole 'fill passage' and it looked clear, but I'll do it again at some point in the near future.

Thanks for the 'page request' Katya, the suggestions Daniel, and since a refill executed fine by using one of the rope holes (which is a lot bigger than the fill hole) maybe (but actually probably not) a drill will come to be used Nailz.

I hope all goes well with the next fill:thumb:
