New tank, new problem

So I got my new Aerotank today and I never experienced this before at all, or anywhere close before. The airflow base refuses to come off so I can throw a coil in it. Been trying for about 1.5 hours off and on even ending up using rubber pads for grip. Still no go. Never had this issue with any other tank before this. Albeit I am still kinda new, but it don't seem not right. Just starting to really tick me off.

Put it in a pan of nigh boiling water for 30 seconds then try.

Sometimes with the Aerotank it could get stuck if it's overtightened. Mine got stuck before too, I had to use tools to get it off.

This is why I have hammers....big ones!...Can't imagine some little girl in China could get too much torque on it so my thoughts lead to ask, is there any adhesives used on that tank and if so it could be the adhesive got into the threading....Just thinking outside the box here!

My guess would be poor machining, which can cause a little cross threading...

When I got my first Aero base, I had to learn to grab the base so tight that the adjustment ring wouldn't move. I ended up having to put it in a vice and use a pair of pliers to break the ring loose. I've also had a machining issue with one that caused me almost to cross-thread it.
