A little early to count as a bump, but it gets the thread on my Alerts list. :p

I do like single coil RTAs so I finally got around to ordering a couple things I'd been putting off...
I have both the Bachelor Nano and a Serpent Mini coming.
I'll post about them probably this weekend if no other users chime in first.

I've told Lannie in the iSub rba thread that just about all of my rba heads/RTAs spew a bit, though never a serious flow. I chalk it up to my poor wicking skills (I hate the mess, so I put it off until I have to do it)... I need practice, practice, practice.
It is a skill, and a pretty critical one for RTAs, so... a topic of interest to me. :D

But other than the "cup" design of the Cubis, I don't expect any rebuilt atty to be perfectly dry. :(

Thank you Jim. I know most rtas and tanks are not completely dry. I'm just looking for the one that will leak the least and like you one that has a little tighter draw. I look forward to your review on the bachelor and serpent mini:) fyi the tf rdta has not leaked on me so far except a couple of times I forgot to close the juice control when filling and I can get the airflow set to a tighter draw but not that tight.

ALL bottom coil tanks will leak if overheated or sucked on too hard.

with that said so far none of my Subtank Mini's have leaked on me and I keep one lying on it's side in my lunchbag for over 8 hours a day.

I use only the RBA V2 in them.
So would the Avocado be considered a top coil since it is a Genesis style? My only worry about that one would be the shallow top cap over the coil allowing the mouthpiece to get too hot unless the airflow was wide open.

The genny style tanks will leak if on side.
All wick fed tanks "can" leak.

Well I got my Griffin 25 and I do have to say it's a nice tank but not quite what my brother needs. Wicked right it doesn't leak and it does not seem to leak with the airflow closed.I am still looking at reviews for the Serpent Mini and a few others.
I have a serpent mini on the way.
According to all the reviews they are a great tank.

Cool, please let me know how you like it. I am leaning toward that one for my brother 3 mls of juice and top fill with no reported leaking issues. Looks simple to rebuild. The Griffin 25 is nice, as is the TF RDTA. I think the flavor is better on the TF RDTA, otherwise its a toss up, I like them equally as well. I may get the Boreas next as I want 1 more RTA in my collection.

The Merlin is rolling out which is a 1 coil tank and looks nice so far. But no reviews yet.
Will let you know on the Serpent. Mine is the full sized though. Brain Glitch... said mini...

I don't know why a tank will leak if just over-heated. Well, maybe if o-rings are melted? Biggest thing I have found is to much juice flow, sucking and/or light wicking. Also, how the RTA is swung around when walking, laid on its side, etc.
If overheated the air in the tank expands pushing the juice out thru the wick and out the air holes.
also the juice gets thinner and will also expand some.
