New tanks having that battery taste? How to avoid it?

If they were prefilled your out of luck but if not run some hot water through them and let them dry before filling. Then fill and let sit for a bit. Sometimes they prime them from reading here and God know what with and how long it sat in there before you got it. I flush my stuff before using it. There may also be some oil on the heating element flushing with hot water would help that.

Cool thanks for the tip. I think its the tank vs my battery. The tanks were vivi nova and i just read they dont like high voltage, so I think thats where it might be. Im gonna go get some DCTs tomorrow, thanks for the heads up tho.
