Hey all you pros!
Im new to this hoping to drop my habit of about 7 years now. I've been playing around on the site learning and doing plenty of reading!! It's so great to know there is such a big following and so much help on this site! I watched my uncle and grandfather quit smoking with their units. They were smoking for plenty more years than i lmao! If anyone has any Good tips or information for me it would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Welcome to the forum. I think it's best to just jump in and buy something to get yourself started, it's always easier to move forward when you actually have something in your hands. I got the Kanger EVOD starter pack. 2 batteries, 2 clearomizers, charger, spare atomizers. Everything you need to get going, except for juice of course, and it seems a lot of retailers give you a free bottle of juice with their starter kits.

I have a tesla unit now. A few flavors to try out. I plan on buying a few flavors in bulk that i have started to like. Ive been three days without a smoke so far. Would you all recomend slowing coming off of them or make a straight jump to the vape?

I think it's totally up to the person. I smoked a pack a day (sometimes more back when I was a drinker) for about 14 years, and I haven't had a real cigarette since I started vaping. I actually still have a few packs left from the last carton I had bought, no urge at all.

Welcome, I started analogs when I was ..

Wait for it

8 years old, picked my dads long cig butts out if the ashtray. I smoked for 37 years & quit 2 weeks ago. The day I got my starter kit. My advice try out some juices , find one you like with a decent nicotine level, 18-24. Then every time you have a craving puff on your atty till the craving goes away. Best of luck to you. If an old guy like me can do it you can too

I'd recommend vaping a liquid higher in nicotine for a couple of weeks. Sometimes you'll run into a situation where you really need that extra oomph in your vape. Don't rely on just one atomizer. Buy another one in case one of them fails to work properly for you. It's really tough if you're at work and you're only tank starts leaking or whatnot and you're left with no vape. Having a backup is almost necessary until you become very familiar with your atomizer. If you've only got one battery I'd say buying another one is well worth the money so you can charge one and vape one. There are some other things but these are the tips that pop up in my mind right away. Enjoy vaping!

I'm very new to all this so take my advice with a large grain of salt, but I don't know if its a good idea to stock up on just a few flavors, they get old FAST. It might be better to have smallish amounts of lots of flavors.

Welcome! I knew I was ready to completely quit analogs when I looked at the last one left in the last pack from a carton and looked at my clearo full of Voodoo and asked myself which I would rather taste; burning leaves and paper or something smooth, complex, and satisfying. That was five months ago and I still have that analog around somewhere! YMMV. Best of luck to you!
