Ok ,so been. vaping for 6 weeks but can't taste a thing. Spent a lot of money but everything tastes the same. What is going on?

Welcome to the Forum!

What you are experiencing is common. It's often called "Vapor's Tongue." After smoking, your taste buds and sense of smell have a lot of healing to do. I couldn't taste anything but mints & menthol for about the first 3 months I vaped. Here's a quick overview:

You probably have a culmination of several things going on. First you stop bombarding your sense of taste and smell with highly pollutant and toxic substances. Well, when your senses start to recover, there's a lot of healing, adjustment and detoxifying going on, so everything can be in a jumble.

Besides that, some are intolerant to high PG, and some to high VG juices. only by trying different ratios and blends can one see if either are an issue. Also on top of all that, what little recovery the taste buds are getting, sounds like you are bombarding them with alcohol, and other foods and drinks, along with vape, basically going into sensory overload. Often miss named as vapors tongue . Might as well call it Scotch tongue, or espresso tongue. It all de same dang. Sensory Overload on recovering cells and nerve inputs.

Back off on spicy foods, beverages and vape. Go bland for awhile and let things heal up and recover. Also check to see what the juice blend you are vaping. Some flavors will cause an irritation or allergic reaction.,

Most these things will clear up on their own, unless it's an adverse or allergic reaction to flavor extract, PG, or VG..

Good luck, have fun,

Vape long and Prosper.
