Ok, I bit the bullet and ordered a Seraph Eternal PV set. $300USD after currency conversion, including shipping. I hope it gets here soon, I can't wait to put it through it's paces! I have some pretty nice pieces in my collection, so I will be able to accurately compare it against some of the most popular and rarest mods and hybrids around.

Honestly, I'm excited for it, and after watching the videos on SERAPH VAPING - PV Jewelry, I have some pretty high expectations!

Elegant Genesis PV that's certain, too bad for the Delrin mouthpiece that can't be replaced.
But the set is appealing as you get the possibility to exchange tubes on the Genny.

You say it's limited, but are they numbered ?

Oh an by the way there's a typo in your website/shop section (nice looking by the way)

SERAPH 510-S
Long model Titanium PV with universal 510 type connector

it should have been written Short model

Hope it can help

Agreed. That was my main gripe about this as well. Please make a top-cap that accepts standard 510 driptips, or an all titanium top-cap with the mouthpiece machined on.

Many thanks for pinpointing the typo. It really did help. The phrase "LIMTED EDITION" is laser printed on SERAPH ETERNAL PVs but they are not numbered. We tried it but eventually gave up, since it didn't look good anywhere on the PVs.

About the mouthpiece...
Well, we have 3 professional industrial designers in our develoment team and material selection is a critical issue. Our philosophy is safety first. . We tried various metal mouthpieces (including titanium) during the prototype stage and came to the conclussion that we will never use any material harder than Delrin, as mouthpiece. People like to vape while they're walking or sitting in a car and even the slightest contact with the teeth poses a great risk if the material is any kind of metal, glass or ceramic. We don't want our users to modify our PVs in that direction either. Moreover, the black Delrin complements the black o-rings which fix the quartz tank and add to the aesthetic value anyway.

In reply to some other comments, I'd also like to say that there are many other (mostly technical) concerns when it comes to material selection: Electrical conductivity, reactivity (tendancy to oxidation), plating or anodizing options, machinability and so on. What we came up with was the best solution set.

Last but not least, most of our customers so far promised to make a video review and Scott Bonner will be doing one for E-Cig-Reviews.com probably on mid-February.

IMHO, I would also like to see a review done by someone with lots of high end hybrid experience, and who is able to make some comparisons to other high end mods and hybrids (iHy, Orion, s-dog, Zens, etc). jcwest comes to mind for me. Scott's a good reviewer, but generally says the same thing about any genesis he reviews, without making much of a comparison to other devices.

To me, the reason you gave for having a delrin mouthpiece sounds like a poor excuse to me. Show me one other high end atomizer or hybrid that doesn't have either a 510 hole or a machined mouthpiece. I own quite a few nice driptips, and if I want to vape with a stone or metal driptip while jogging and I chip a tooth, that's my business. In my opinion, the delrin mouthpiece doesn't compliment the color scheme, it makes it look cheap, like a throw-away clearomizer. O-rings are necessary, cheap mouthpieces are not.

Dredd, that's a very direct way of saying that, but I have to agree. This device isn't made as a beginner pv or for someone to go jogging with. To give someone the choice to choose a different drip tip then the one that comes with it and they chip their tooth on it, there's no liability on Seraph Vaping. I think people are more likely to cut themselves on glass if the tank breaks than chipping a tooth. I just think if you made a adapter that would give people to use another drip tip, it would probably make your customers happy IMHO. Besides the drip tip it's an amazing looking pv. This is just my take on things, nothing against Aftandis or Seraph Vaping as I wish I could afford to buy one of you hybrids regardless of the drip tip.:)

I tend to be rather direct when I've spent a good amount of $$$ on something and it needs an improvement. Sorry if I came off mean spirited, as that wasn't my intent. Regardless, to me performance > looks. If this thing vapes like beast, I won't care too much, but in my opinion and high prices device should have this option.

Aftandis: I use to walk everyday in bad winter days, as I'm forced to take the train instead of my beloved motorcycle to go working....
I can understand your point of view, as when surrounded by the crowd, sometimes people push me and with a metal tip I could eventually get some shock in teeth indeed. But that's my problem not yours in fine :)

So I repeat that I can understand your point of view, but you should definately think to offer the option of a cap compatable with 510 driptips of our choice. Not mounted on the regular product, but aside in the box with the kanthal and mesh. That could be a great add-on to sell it better.

And also maybe considering an eGo thread sleeve cone, like the C one in this picture
http://www.healthcabin.net/images/eGo Sleeve Cone CD.jpg

They look good when adding some kind of VivNova on a 510 like yours, because when watching your video, that's blatantly evident that it must be covered to look better
.

Remember that's not for critizicising only your product, but really for it looking better and fit better customers needs. Sorry for my english, I usually speaks in french, but as you have posted your product only here, I reply here ;)

I hate me but I've registered on your website, I should now only resist not to order.... :)

It's all about cost. It's a lot easier, and likely cheaper, to slice off some Ti tube of a specific diameter than to actually mill a Ti block into a usable shape that will accept a standard drip tip. I hope the reviews come back positive, but I'm not buying the "don't want you to chip your teeth" explanation.

Best of luck with your device though.
