New to all this and have a question on atomizers

Good evening - I ordered a 510 starter kit from vaperstix. First let me say that Bill is amazing to work with and ships super fast.

I also ordered a ton of DIY stuff to make my own e juice. So now my question...I made some coconut flavored e juice. I don't know why, I hate coconut. I direct dripped it and now I can not get the taste out of my atomizer. Is there a way to get this flavor out? I tried to vape other flavors on top of it and trust me coconut flavored waffles just don't cut it. Either does coconut flavored honey....

I was a 2 pack a day smoker for 27 years....9 days cigarette free...go me!!!!

Thank you for your time and suggestions.

Hot water rinse first, then try soaking your Atty in PGA, then you can also use mouthwash for the tougher flavors like coconut and cinnamon, it works pretty well then another dip in the PGA and and another hot water rinse, then take your hair dryer and blow the Atty out, don't hold it to close to the Atty. Once totally dry re-prime your Atty with some PG liquid and let it sit overnight ! it's now ready

yeah - the hot water will loosen up juice residue and flush it, but coconut flavoring may be an oil flavor so the PGA (pure grain alcohol) will help dissove oils (as well as help it dry quicker than water would). If you can't get PGA you could use vodka - it's not as strong an alcohol but at least it doesn't have sugar. And I would recommend blowing out the atty before washing and then shading it out well after the alcohol, then drying. You could use a hair drier to speed up drying.

Before using prime with 2-3 drops and wait so they can absorb down to the coil.

190 should be fine-- I believe it is PGA -- Everclear is the brand I've heard of. It will not ruin the atty--you are simply cleaning it with a solvent---an edible solvent! I've read that some just use a few drops of diluted non flavored & vape the flavor off--there are more tricks. Oh, it won't hurt if the PGA isn't fully dry---you just might get some heafty throat hit---that will go away quickly as it vapes off. Make sure you prime the atty after cleaning with a few drops on the mesh and let it sit and soak up the juice for a minute.
