Hello everyone,

I've been vaping for probably 18 months or so, it helped me quit regular cigs as it bothered the wife. I've been using the typical electronic variable voltage electronic mods with kanger tanks or similar. Recently, I decided I wanted to step up my game and get into rebuildables. I bought a genesis style tank because I dont want to have to constantly redrip so I figured it was something that gave me the freedom to change my build and start messing with creating my own coils and such. However, I was rather disappointed when i realized if this thing was tipped to the side the liquid just poured out. I'm always busy doing stuff since I'm in the military and generally i carry my e-cig in my pocket so this was just not something I could do.

Recently I found out there are completely incased rebuildable coils that still can use a tank without leaking everywhere. So here's where my question comes in, what bottom fed rebuildable tanks would you guys recommend and what kind of mod should I use with them? I have a mechanical e-pipe mod that i bought when i got the prometheus tank but it won't take very large batteries. Not sure if a 26650 build is better or if it doesnt really matter.

I'm more looking for flavor production but large vapor clouds are always fun and something to wow the friends with.

Thanks

Check out Reosmods.com and visit their sub-forum here on ECF, I just got into RDA's myself but needed something to carry on the go it fit the bill perfectly.

Bunch of helpful folks over there.

woah, so those you just stick the whole bottle in them? And would I be able to use any RDA on it? I'm confused as to how it gets the juice up to the RDA...

haha, now i just have to figure out if the RDA's i'm interested in would work with it, I'm assuming any bottom fed RDA would work right?

Yes it has to be bottom fed. If you look on the Reos site they have RBA's that are already modded to work with the Reos. I went with the RM4, but they have a whole line of them.

There are people who can mod existing RDA's to be bottom fed but for the extra $$ it was easier for me to buy one from Reos and keep my other RDA on my mech mod.

Yes absolutely, rob at Reos mods sells several different atomizers that are already set up for bottom feeding. He buys them and mods them himself, they are all quality products and just know if you choose a low profile REO grand vs standard grands, you'll have more options for attys with the low profile grand. You could also look up catfish mods and send in any atty you have and wish to use and he will mod it for bottom feeding to use on a reo grand. Check out the sub forum on ECF REOs mods. Any questions you have will be answered. Good luck with choosing the perfect color.

If you choose to order from reos mods and still have questions, you can call rob directly and speak to him, his number is listed on the website. He will answer any questions you have and can get you all set up. Customer service is A+, and shipping is extremely fast and insured. Just remember to track your order and be home the day of delivery, you will have to sign for the package. I ordered my wife her LP grand Friday morning on Oct. 17th, it shipped that same day and arrived at my house Monday Oct. 20th.

A Reo is a great option.

Another option, as someone mentioned, is to go the Kayfun/Taifun/Russian 91% route. Not quite a dripper RDA experience but well above your typical clearomizer.

A newer option is the Big Dripper (or clone). It still has air holes that will leak juice, but if you simply rotate it to close off the air holes before stowing it I've found mine to be very "juice tight". The authentic is expensive...nearly as much as a Reo...but there are clones out there that work very well for a fraction of the price if you're not opposed to using clones.

After the genesis types, the kayfun types came out; these have the coil down at the bottom.

I got a kayfun 3.1 a month or two ago.
The problem I have with it is you can just refill it like a kanger protank or evod; the chimney isn't stuck to the top, so if you try to unscrew the tank upside down like a protank, everything just falls out.

I've been looking for the options in that regard, and here's the list of what I see, some better than others:
Yes;
So far I see:
1: Taifun GT
1632903-1.jpg

2: Rose V2
1849800-2.jpg

3: Squape reloaded
1882100-2.jpg

4: Expromizer
1855901-1.jpg

5: Heron
1830408-2.jpg

6: Fogger
1873701-1.jpg

you can turn the tank over and unscrew the tank with the liquid in it; put the upside down tank in a cup, and you can adjust your coil and/or wick;

or like when you have a few such tanks and the tank you're vaping on is giving a problem, you turn it upside down, take the tank off, and put on a different atomizer. Done; no worries about juice going all over the place; no needle or needlebottle, no screwdriver; no vacuum worries.

Yea I think I'll just try the fogger for now. The REO is a bit out of my price range for the time being. This is assuming the fogger isn't going to dump all the fluid if tipped...

It won't, but you might have to watch the airholes; or just store it upside down if there's any leak though the airholes; I don't have one, but with the kayfun, I do have to watch the airhole; fortunately it's only 1 airhole so as long as I lie it down horizontally with the airhole facing up I don't see a leak; when I go to bed I leave it upside down in a can.
