New to building coils on RBA

I have a did clone and having problems building the coil. ok i am using 32g kanthal and 400 mesh when i am building the coil
i dry burn and adjust the coil to work out hot spots all the coils will start to glow orange but after i add the juice in the tank the top coil only will glow orange am i doing something wrong or is it suppose to do that anybody help please

I'm new to RBA's too but once you put juice in your tank the coils won't glow like a dry burn.

This is why I gave up on my DiD. Good luck. No, it's not supposed to do that.

After you add the juice in the coils aren't supposed to glow, but that top coil shouldn't be glowing either.

You either need to pull the wick a smidge closer to the positive post (the wire needs as little air-time as possible), make sure the wick extends above the last coil by a couple of mm (if the wick ends where the top coil is, the top coil will quickly run out of juice to vapourise) and make sure that when you do pull the wick closer to the post that you're not pulling so tight that the coil scrapes through the top layer of oxidation.

Sound like your wick isnt keeping up, does it instantly glow orange. if you get a good drag or two after letting it sit for a minute then ypu get a dry hit it is not wicking fast enough.

Also leave the fill screw out and tilt the pv when you hit it

Im having the same issue with my aga, also new to rba's... I can rebuild a vivi nova in a couple mins, played with a proper rba and i fail..good times
