New to DIY and getting ready to order supplies

Good Morning all!

As the title states, I am new to DIY and getting ready to place an order from a couple of vendors Before I place my orders, I would appreciate some feedback as to if I am missing something as well as your thoughts on any of the flavorings that I have chosen (are they good or should i choose from another manufacture) . I have read, read, read and read, but no matter how much you read, things can fall through the cracks...LOL

Below is what I already have, ordered and getting ready to order:

I am going to be shooting for 12mg Nic strength and probably a 65 PG/35 VG

I've used banana nut bread and its awesome.. At first.. mine tasted horrible after 2 months... I mixed @ probably 10%... I forgot :/
Also, butter rum is ok if use sparingly..
Maybe 1% or 2%

I have not used either of these vendors for flavors, so I don't know what percentages will be needed, but let's assume total 15% flavoring and making 10ml of juice.

In order to get your targets you will need to mix:

2ml nic base
1.5ml flavor
3.5ml VG
3ml PG

So, you will need to order plain PG too.

Or you could use 6.5ml of VG instead and end up with 35 pg / 65 vg

you'll also need more PG..

according to ejuicemeup calculator, you need:
2 ML of your nicotine
4.5 ML of PG
3.5 ML of VG

That will make 10 ML of unflavored..
PG will be reduced by the amount of flavor used - example: 10% flavor would be 1 ML, so you would need only 3.5 ML of PG..

If you cut 60 mg/ml pg nicotine down to 12 mg/ml with straight vg, you're going to only have 20%pg and 80% vg* (please, someone, correct me if I'm wrong on that). You'll need more PG added per batch than you will VG.

*just quick math, you'll need to cut the nic to 1/5 (60 divided by 12) to get your target

What does butter rum taste like? I'm hoping it tastes like butter rum lifesavers. 1% or 2% is strong enough to get good flavor?

I would suggest looking up some recipes before placing the new order, that way if your missing a flavor or 2 for some recipes you'd like to try, you can order that now instead of missing an ingredient later. Also that LA lemonade inst completely water soluble, just so you are aware. WL has a lemon flavor by TFA if you might like that better.
Also if you don't have an atomizer id suggest getting a bridge less atomizer to test your flavors.

I have already placed the 2 order's, but will definitely keep that lemonade in mind! There is so much to learn and I plan on taking this slow by making 1 flavor at a time until i feel good enough to to try multiple flavors.

I have an IGO-L RDA on order so that I can easily try things out without having to fill up a tank

Another thing I do is use a flavorless 50/50 juice between the flavors that I'm trying. Just so you can make sure you don't have a previous flavor still in the atomizer. Just a suggestion. Good luck!
