Hello I am new to DIY. I recently made what I was hoping would be my first batch of DIY Grape. I wanted to start simple with one flavor. And to help with calculations I was going to make a 10ml test batch. all of my product came from wizardlabs

My Base was 12mg Nicotine
12mg/ml Nicotine solution strength (1.2% Nicotine by volume) diluted in a USP grade carrier base fluid available as Propylene Glycol, or vegetable-derived Glycerin.

I am using the 100% VG

My flavor was Grape Candy Flavor Concentrate (TFA) Ingredients: Artificial Flavors, Propylene Glycol, Water.

I used a 5% flavoring mixture so my initial mix was 9.5ml Nicotine and 0.5ml Grape

once this was mixed it was very thick and had no color like i see in the liquids i am currently buying at the store. I am lost becase I am guessing the the PG in the flavoring was not enough.but I am not 100% sure any advice would be great

what is a good starting point for distilled water? in the calculator should i add 3% to start with? maybe ill buy some PG to add to the mix? right now with the VG it is not the best flavor. Didnt know if i should add more grape or if i should try to make this thinner. i might try the distilled first as its falvor is coming in the burn from pulling so hard

you to ecf dycero[/B. DIY is a great hobby and a lot of fun too. It does take some patience and playing around til you find something that makes your taste buds dance. But when you do......it is so worth it. Good luck to you and happy mixing.
