Well I'm new to the forum and I just started dripping. I have the Tree of Life mod. 26ga wire coil. Any helpful tips appreciated.

What I can tell you is is go watch some video's on YouTube, the 2 perople that come to mind is Trevor Jones, and Ruby Roo on there YouTube channel, They can guide you, even if you have to watch and pause as you go. They are really great at there tutorials! They really helped me, so give them a try both great channels!
Indeed, I learned A LOT about dripping from Youtube and this forum. Plenty of help out there if you ask for it (Which you did ^^) Safety should be your first concern. After that, you'll soon be hooked on dripping and rebuilding 
Well I have the Tree of life with 26 wire. I'm new to this so I'm honestly not sure if that answers your question or not.lol.

Btw had a question about coils. What coil setup would you use for a slightly cooler vape?

I have a Helios RDA and the reason I got it is because of a review and rebuild I watched from RiP Trippers on youtube he is a really likeable guy and he teached me a lot.

Like others have said. Make sure you have a nice battery, preferrably a Sony VTC3,4,5 or an Efest 30amp.
Airflow is the key to a cool vape. I have a dual 28 gauge coil ~.5 ohms but my vapor is still around room temperature because I have drilled out 3 mm airholes in my RDA. Tons of vapor and its refreshingly cool.
If you haven't built a coil yet, I would start with a single coil. Make sure the wraps are tight and as close as possible to one another. Make sure it glows from the center out, then wick it up.

I use drill bits to wrap my coils on. Some time I use a set of stanly mini screwdrivers. And I write down what size bit, what gauge wire, and how many wrap I made plus the resulting ohm I get so I can remember. I get great consistency this way.
Welcome to dripping, prepare to run through juice like it's going out of style lol. I wasn't too bad when I first started with a dripper but then it just progressed to chain vaping. 10-15ml a day at times. Shoot, was so stoked on this new copper quasar clone and this juice is so gosh darn bomb, I've literally almost killed a 15ml bottle in the last 6 hours....sigh, so much for "this will be cheaper than cigarettes" lol
I only have one battery atm. And my memory is awful so i can't remember what kind. Its green. Lol

Dont want to be rude, but if you are going to be using a mechanical mod and dripper please know your batteries (sony vct4s and vct5s are popular), get a multi meter or little 510 resistance meter. The last thing you want to do is vent your batteries, or even worse if you dont have decent batteries....
The reason those sonys, as well as some others I'm not too familiar with (MNKEs for examply) are so popular is because they have high amp limits (Green Sony vct 1600mah is like 30amp limit)
Seeing as you said green, theres a good chance you may actually have these sonys, BUT you really should find out and do a little research on battery safety just to be safe!

Good odds are it's a Sony and that's what is a good common safe battery. Post a pic of your build if you can!
