Before anyone asks, i have been vaping on an NON vv ego and a smok clearomizer tank (2 ohm coil)- i am not new to vaping, just new to dripping RBA's. Anyways... I am getting a k101 mech mod kit that comes with a nimbus XL clone dripping RBA. Ive never gone away from clearomizers (and i plan to still use them), but since i already decided on the kit that came with the nimbus, i figured i may as well learn to drip and build. I know the basics of it, but i would not even know where to start as far as building it myself. Does anybody have any tips? Preferred material? Preferred wires? I plan on ordering an ohms reader as well. I may not start this way, but any advice on sub ohm building? Any advice/links/walkthroughs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Dripping is great

preferred material - I use silica but most everyone will recommend organic cotton (available at Walgreens)
preferred wire - Kanthal A1 30 or 32 ga
definitely need an ohms reader
sub ohm - DON'T DO IT!!!! until you have a complete knowledge of battery safety, amp limits etc. mechs have no safety circuits built into them and if you use the wrong battery with a too small of coil you may have an issue you want no part of. an 18650 battery is very similar to an M80 firecracker (1/4 stick of dynamite), coincidence, I don't think so. (and this is why I never go to the mech mod or the RBA forums - I get on a sub ohm coil rant, my face gets red, my blood pressure goes up, I have to vape 3 Regulated 1.9 ohm mods at the same time to calm back down and have to chant OooHHHMMM at least 13 times (anyone get it?))
see baditude's blog for battery info
