Complex wire builds are fun and the bulk of my personal edgy experimentation. They're challenging to prewire, assemble and troubleshoot. To learn to get a dependable result you need to set a baseline. As @DagMatt said Steam-Engine will save you months of reading and posting. For maximum effective contact area mech or box and the MutX particularly I'd shoot for…24x2, 9/8 @ 2.778mm (7/64") = 0.381Ω. This will allow you the flexibility to try KGD (Japanese cotton) or RxD ceramic fiber wicking (lasts forever). Good for takin' advantage of the great variability of airflow on this rda for both extremes of flavor and vapor volume. A comfortably warm and productive vape with a stable coil.

An extra wrap will get ya 0.423Ω, a tad cooler. Not too much more time to heat up and a bit more heat capacity if you have a variable box. A bit more wire on the wick so more potential vapor with a bit more power applied.

Thirty seconds to an outstanding repeatable baseline vape…a tensioned contact microcoil (below).

Everything else is fun. Meet ya there.

Good luck BMV.

Most of us are comfortable with a vape temperature in the range of about 16 to 25 watts…

full

as I posted with my blog entry...Good index for finding your comfort zone sub-Ω.

(Thx go to @danwldr's for the above contribution on thevapersden.)

It's important to have a temp/power baseline that will accommodate the broadest variety of flavors reliably. Search on my posts for details on building "tensioned micro coils" for that stable and rewarding go-to vape.

Good luck all.
