new to e-cigs. having atty head problems

Hello,

I've been enjoying my new ego-c for a week now and I am really enjoying it. Glad to be off cigarettes.

With that said, I noticed my vapor was not strong after a week. I changed the atty head and it smokes fine now. I was wondering if you can clean an atty head and reuse it. I'd hate to have to replace them every week so if there is a way, I would like to reuse the atty head. Thanks for any advice.

Welcome to ECF. You didn't mention what type atty you are using but, yes, they can be cleaned in various ways. Over-cleaning (i.e. cleaning often) is generally not recommended and there are some methods that take a bit of "finesse" to avoid damaging the atty.

My link function isn't working, but you can find a lot of information in the "Tips and Tricks" section of the forum - best of luck.

In my experience, the particular atty shouldn't make that much difference - mainly the color/coating of the atty (e.g. a painted/plasticized titanium colored model generally doesn't hold up to boiling very well as it can peel the plastic). If you take a look at the various methods in the T&T, I think you will get a feel of what might work for you. Personally, I usually a pure alcohol soak and then a let it dry for a few days. Sometimes I will use a hot water soak. I rarely use the dry burn for drying-- well maybe a little <g>.
