Newbie here just trying to get some learning from the pros...

Is this what a dirty, burnt tasting, eGo C atty coil looks like?

Here's what it looks like after I washed it and gave it a few dry burns:

Notice the middle of coil looks greenish/corroded. Is that normal after dry burn? Is this sucker about to die?

The burnt taste has dissipated after the cleaning, but this is the second time I've cleaned it today. I think one of my tanks has either bad juice or it leaks too much, because burnt taste comes back after about an hour of using that one tank.

Last question...Does this wick need to be replaced soon? Or is it normal to be black and burnt at the bottom? It's only been used for about 1800 vapes.

I only have one of these atty heads to go with my ECA atomizer, 5 tanks but no extra heads. I'm kinda pee-oh'd that when I ordered the head, the site's page said nothing about needing to replace the atty head frequently. I did buy five extra tanks.

I do have 10 new atty heads arriving Friday. I hope this one will last till then or else my "days w/o analog" counter might get set back to zero.

TIA for any advice and help!
