So my friend gave me an el-cheapo $20 e-cig he got at the flea market and I tried it. It was okay, at first, but getting the juice in my mouth and having to recharge it for 3 hours after only two hours of vaping didn't get it at all, so next time I went to the flea market with him I found a different vendor and got something decent, with an 1100 MaH battery and a decent clearomizer tank on it, and suddenly it was a far better experience, and my battery lasted all day, which was quite a bonus.

I've not had a real analog cig since, and I'm loving it, but sometimes I get some harsh hits on it, not quite what you would call a dry hit, but not good either. So today I was looking around online and got the idea to get a dual coil clear-o-mizer, and rushed out to the local vape store to get one after seeing all the great reviews of it on YouTube.

Well, it's no better than my single coil with my battery, and I guess what I hadn't taken into account was that these guys reviewing it all had big honkin batteries you could turn up the voltage on, and they were hitting it with 3.5 volts or better. I can't do that with my battery, no dial on it for that, so it wasn't any better than my single coil, and even worse at times.

So, I'm thinking at least it's re-buildable so maybe I can put a single coil head/core in it and be okay with it. Alternately I could pop for a big honkin battery with a spinner, dial on it, but I've learned not to just take for granted that what they are reviewing will work for me as well as it does for them.

Well in the midst of all this I am seriously considering going into business selling these through E-Cig-Pros, and the guy I got mine from. they have buy-in plans, starting at $500 and going up to $5000. I really like the e-cig and vaping and it's something I can feel good about marketing. Has anyone else gotten into selling them? I'd be interested to hear about your experience.

Thanx

Do you know the resistance of the coils of the dual-coil you've got? It sounds like exactly what you said: your battery just isn't strong enough to power one of those.

I don't think it's fair to dismiss people's reviews because--let's just say it--you weren't aware that you don't have the right kind of battery to use the device.

As for getting into a business, what kind of gear are they selling? Are they good quality or just rebranded generic stuff? Is the price appropriate or are there too many middle-men?

I suggest U read the Legislation forums here...many cities and states have pending legislation either banning or taxing all Ecig products...as far as your "harsh" hits ONLY "sometime"....it may be the way your inhaling and vaping, or the clearomizer may needa new coil or wick if its a rebuilable one...otherwise U may need a new clearomizer if its a disposable type, like a CE4....the coils and wicks could be getting to become getting old and need replacing.....if it was "harsh" ALWAYS, that's another story and would possibly be the ejuice yer using, and a def change of clearomizer wick or coil etc..,...

Yes bazmonkey, you are right my battery is not enough for a dual coil tank, and I am sure of that because it didn't last at all. It ran out hours early. With a single coil tank that I have been using it lasted all day long and I put it on the charger when I went to bed. Using the dual coil it ran out about 7:30 this evening, the first time it's ever run out on me.

I really didn't have any clue that would happen, and I asked the people I got the dual coil from, but they said it would be fine, don't worry. Okay, well it's not fine. Lesson learned. As for the reviews, yes, I prolly should have realized they had a lot more of a battery than I do.

As for E-Cig-Pros and their marketing plans they seem to sell the good stuff and will not deal in the cheap units. They also told me that they don't recommend PG juice at all and told me why, so I've been going with VG since. Their web page is at: Electronic Cigarettes - E Cig - Electronic Cigarette - Ecig - Stop Smoking

Here's the marketing spiel:

Our distributor program allows you to profit selling eCigPros products by buying from us in bulk at wholesale prices and then reselling at retail (or into retail channels when buying from us at the top level). There are minimum purchase requirements to protect our distributors from people using the wholesale program solely for personal purchases. Unlike many other companies, eCigPros does not charge any distributorship or franchise fees; your investment is fully secured by your inventory.

There are several key benefits of working with eCigPros compared to other electronic cigarette manufacturers. Among those are:

  • Extremely high quality of product – the eCig market is literally overrun with very poor quality merchandise. Authentic eCigPros products are absolutely the very best available anywhere. As a retailer that depends upon the trust and goodwill of your clientele, you would not want to settle for anything less.
  • Our Customer Support is staffed by our own people. The 800 number (800-731-7428) is available Monday through Saturday from 9AM – 8PM. Our Customer Service is second to none.
  • We have one of the largest selections and inventories of eLiquids you will find anywhere. We actually stock over 300 different varieties of eLiquids (see attached list). This is where the bulk of your on-going revenue will be from Customers that use eCigPros.
  • We maintain extensive inventories of all products in our Florida warehouse; it averages being 99.85% in-stock.
  • Order fulfillment is quick and easy. Once you are set up as an Authorized eCigPros distributor, placing orders with us is as simple as logging onto your account at www.eCigPros.com and adding what you need to your cart; the appropriate wholesale discount will automatically be calculated, and if your order is place by Noon Eastern time it will ship out the same day. If it is placed after Noon, it will ship the following morning. We ship exclusively via USPS with tracking, and we email you tracking information upon order fulfillment.

Distributors receive a 30% discount on opening orders with a minimum size of $500 and minimum reorder size of $250; a 40% discount on opening orders with a minimum size of $2500 and minimum reorder size of $500; and a 50% discount on opening orders with a minimum size of $5000 and minimum reorder size of $1000. All reorders receive the same discount as the opening order. The discounts are taken from the Sale prices; for example, the eCigPros Original Kit has a regular price of $69.99 and a sale price of $49.99. The cost for a distributer at the 30% level for this is $35, and the cost for a distributor at the 50% level is $25. The order size must meet the minimums after the discount is applied

Oh gee, I thought that might happen, and as far as I know it's not going on here in Florida yet, but it's just a matter of time I'm sure. It really seems it's not what's bad for you they are against and want to tax the snot out of so much as it's anything at all you might enjoy.

Well it's a disposable tank, and I've had it less than a week so I don't think it's getting old, though I have to admit I'm a chain vaper and use it quite heavily.
