new to e-cigs, new to VK and have a few questions

Like the titles says im new to all of this. I'm looking into buying my first e-cig and have settled on the VK. So I was wondering me and my wife smoke about a pack a day of analogs I work 8-10 hour days and go to school 2-3 nights a week. Unfourtantly we are pretty broke and looking into the mid priced kit well what I'm wondering is will the only 2 batteries be ok to start. I know i can charge at work if needed so how long does that take? Anyway hope you can help me out and looking forward to placing a order within the week.

I forgot somthing in my post we both smoke about a pack a day. I was looking at the ejuice and carts and noticed there are a lot of them not in stock in the 16-24mg strength i was wondering when they might be back in stock?

Get a passthrough and two batteries *should* hold you for a little bit...although honestly each individual should have two batteries in an ideal world.
a battery charges faster than you can use one up, and thats with me powervaping them down most normal people charge twice as fast or even faster than they use them up.
The problem i see is when you both go somewhere or both go different places..someone is going to turn up with a dead battery.

a full charge from dead duck is *approximately* 2.5 hours...your mileage may vary. all batteries dont charge at exactly the same rate, but its mighty close to that.

yea that would not be a major problem the kit i am looking at has the usb pass through and the wall charge and a usb charger also 2 hours would be fine thats about the length between my breaks at work. Thanks again for the quick response

Nothing beats a fully charged battery (except of course a passthrough) but these are lithium ion batteries. They dont develop a memory, so no charging woes if you gotta take it off the charger half charged to use it on break, then put it back on after break. These things happen, and thankfully it wont ruin your battery life.

well i cant wait to get my order and start vamping. i have been looking at this fourm and also on the v4l site and noticed there are a lot of the nobacco liquids that are not ava. or are only in the 6 mg strength so i figured when ill make my order ill probley get a extra order of carts. but i was wondering when steve would get more of the liquid in?

The VK is absolutely the best. Steve and everyone at V4L are even better than that. He will take care you. I haven't been to V4L today but there were stronger juices and carts there just 3 days ago. Look at RY4, Vanilla, Coffee, Cappuccino, Mboro carts. They should have more than just 6mg because that shipment just came in.

Hello Brent,
Glad you are joining our VK family... One fact about lithium rechargeable batteries...they will last much longer if you don't completely drain them. For example, the number of cycles you can expect to get from a battery that is fully charged and discharged will be around 300-500. If you drain about 75 % of the battery before you recharge it, you will double the number of times you can recharge the battery before it needs replacing. These figures are not exact as there are other things that will effect cycle life, such as temperature, usage and so on. But the point is you can get much more life out of these batteries by charging them before they are completely drained.

If the battery is functioning properly it cannot be over charged. The protection circuit shuts off when the battery reaches full charge and can no longer receive a charge.

You are very welcome here - we are all on the same path away from analogs and we all want to see you and your wife get there too. Steve mentioned earlier in this thread to give him a call, I hope you take him up on it. He is a great guy and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Thats how i carry mine as the batteries go down over time sitting around too long. your pcc will happily keep it topped off and ready to go just like fresh off the charger. The batteries have a protection circuit to prevent that very issue, otherwise they'd explode, as most of us put them on the charger every night and many of us leave them there.

In my opinion, thats the second best use of a PCC..keepin your spare full.. The primary best use is saving you from yourself when you realize that youre going to be out a lot longer than you realized and didnt bring a charger.

Sure coulda used it if e-cigs had been created back in my single days. Sometimes life didn't appreciate being planned LOL
