Two weeks ago I decided enough with traditional cigarettes, I was tired of the smell, the mess and the expense *but* I still enjoyed the action and of course the chemical addition was something that I wasn't ready to battle. I've tried in the past to quit with other forms of nicotine replacement (patches, gum) with absolutely no luck ... I'd hit a two month mark and fall off the wagon doing a face plant right in the tobacco field. However being a cancer survivor I still WANTED to shake the habit. So I opted to try the disposable version that I was able to pick up locally (njoy) and they did help but I still was craving the "real" thing.
With a LOT of digging on the internet and reading reviews, absorbing tons of information, reading more I was more confused on what to buy, what to look for, what was going to REALLY help ... so I posted on Facebook asking if anyone had experience with the e-cigs and got a lot of help from one of my friends. She directed me to the eGo personal vaporizer and I am SOOOOOO happy with it!!! She said it would be best to go with a couple of the refillable cartomizers and explained all of the finer details AND located a place that is close to my home where I was able to go and actually learn from the shop keeper.
I've not smoked tobacco since and while it's VERY early on for me (since the 11th) it's been SO much easier to not light up. I'm still very much a newbie but I'm a happy newbie! When I bought my supplies I purchased two juices, one traditional tobacco flavor and one "cream" flavor (which I prefer) and I'm ready to buy more flavors now
. I'm so happy to not have the big tobacco companies' monkey on my back now and am feeling very confident that I'm never going back! I do enjoy vaping and like that I don't stink like a dirty ashtray anymore, in fact I don't LIKE smelling it anymore at all!
I'm a happy shortgirl and looking forward to learning more from the forum!
