I'm new to ECF, this is my first post and here's the story of how I got here and why I'm gonna be a part of this community for a long time to come!
So my new year resolution was to quit smoking cigarettes, and after a week of stressing out without that... I started smoking again
Nothing changed until the beginning of this week, the 25th to be exact sometime in the evening when a pop-up spam, which I would normally exit right away... popped up lol.
So there it is, the smoke anywhere free trial scam, i knew it was a scam... but was really interested in this "e-cigarette". Never heard about something like this before.
I'm so excited that I just do a quick search for e-cigs in toronto, and a bunch of craigslist and kijiji classified ads pop up. I see that a cellphone store not to far from where I live sells the smokestik, so I immediatly drive there and buy the premium starter kit.
Okay, so now I'm back home, and realize what an impulsive purchase that was, and started doing actual research and found ECF.
I read a few reviews and what not, I realized the smokestik kit i just got doesn't have any nicotine carts because of the health canada rules.
I also thought maybe I would have been better off buying a 510 since i wanted more smoke and a longer battery life from what I've read here.
Oh well, too late, and the smoke wasn't too bad with the smokestik, just wished there was nicotine in the carts.
So I'm up all night reading radom posts and what not, then I stumble onto a post about vapables.com and how thier based in Toronto. Now I'm on the website and luckily the customer service chat shows "online". Nice, I can ask a few questions.
I get a greeting from Rob after clicking on the chat box, and asked him about the different tobbaco flavors, and narrowed down my choices to parliment (seen a review on youtube and like it), do more eh (it's a canadian thing lol) and Marly-Boros. I wanted somthing that would taste n feel like the real thing.
I really didn't want to wait for shipping so I asked Rob if he could do me a huge favor and let me pick up the ejuice instead of delivery. It's somthing he wouldn't normally do because there's no store front, but that night folks... I was in luck, because the next day, he was going to be at a vapers meet at a bar not too far from where I live.
Anxious... yes.
Next day I go to the bar with a friend of mine, and have no clue what Rob looks like or where all the vapers were, so we sit down at the bar and grab a beer.
It was my first time being at a bar with my smokestik so I was a little hesistant to pull it out and smoke. So I just sipped on the beer and sent Rob a message to let him know I was there.
"Hey, thier smoking over there" my friend points out... I look behind me and a group of vapers were puffing on an assortment of PVs, there was a pipe, and there were the 510s, different led's, differents colors lol.
So I walk over and introduce myself and asked if any of them were Rob.
Nope, had to wait a little longer... a bit longer, beacuse I actually came early lol.
Any ways, Long story short, well I guess if you've read this far already, it's still long... but yea, rob comes, I get the 30ml 18mg Parliment I ordered and Rob give's me a sample of the Do More Eh.
This is my 4th day of vaping and I have already cut down to 4 analogs from a usual 8-10+ a day, I'm better with refilling the carts, learning the ECF lingo, and think that at this rate, I should be analog free in no time.
I'm gonna stick with the smoke stik for now, and if dies on me, or if i need a new atomizer and can't find one, I'll think of upgrading to a 510... most likely from Jack if I can meet up with him at another Vapers meet.
Next time, I'll hang around and vape it up with them since i didn't get a chance to last time... Oh yea, if the other Rob (not from vapables) is on here, thanks for the tip on how to fill the carts for the smokestik and about the drops on the atomizer! lol, it really came in handy and I have been getting alot more smoke.
SO HERE I AM ECF, YOUR NEWEST MEMBER.
I'm gonna experiment and learn all I can, then I'll share it with everyone else!
