Figured it's about time I registered for the forum and start reading and posting before buying new products. Youtube has been good for the most part watching Grimm Green and PBusardo really helped me a lot getting into something beyond the Blu starter kit I started on in Oct. My name is Ben from St. Augustine FL. I have been vaping for 6 months now and for the most part very pleased with the overall experience, I no longer smoke! I guess that's the best part of all. However I'd like to start trying new products and higher voltage possibly. I use the Omega at 3.7 volts and 1.7ohm or lower resistance when possible. I'd be interested in hearing your opinions on how I can get a cleaner more flavorful vaping experience. I am a heavy gamer I tend to be on a computer a good part of the day so any regulated pass-through would work great but I haven't been able to find any pts that are regulated that don't have a battery installed if such a device exists I'd love one.

Welcome to the forums, Ben! Great to hear you've been able to kick the stinkies as well!

There is one option that I know of off the top of my head... Sabre Touch w/ PT option. Nick (GrimmGreen) actually did a review of it. Another reviewer that might be good to follow is Scott (igetcha69) as he has a lot of thorough reviews and really helpful tutorials.

What flavors/mixtures do you currently vape?

Currently I vape what I can find that doesn't taste bad lmao. Pink Spot vapors frozen lime drop is great and I just started bobas bounty today, liking it so far too. I have tried to buy liquid as I pick up attys / cartos, this has been very problematic as they pride themselves more in their mods than juices it seems. Lately tho I have been buying exclusively through Pink Spot and sampling other companies at the same time.

Welcome. I used to spend every summer vacation in St. Augustine and Crescent Beach, back when it was nothing but sand dunes and little mom & pop cottages. Lovely memories. I imagine it's wall to wall condos by now.

If you want a better performing PV, you'll need to up the voltage, or at least keep it up. There are straight 5V passthroughs with no batteries at all, but you'll probably need a self-powered USB hub. A 2A draw is more than most Mobo's can handle. Or, there are passthroughs that have a small 3.7V in line, up near USB port. They don't draw the amperge, but they stay at 4v or so all the time by keeping the little battery charged up. The actual PV is just like a little cig. type unit.

If you want more voltage, your only other option is something with a variable voltage. I can vape at 4-6V all day on one 18650 battery. Not everything tastes good at high voltage or Low resistance. The only way you're going to get a "cleaner" taste is by dripping or using clearomizers.

Anyway, you're off the analogs and past the Blu. It's all good from here on out.

Welcome! You couldn't find a better forum :). I started out with a gas station e-cig (IncrediSmoke) and couldn't use it at all. I'm very happy with my setup now but would love to try a VV (variable voltage) in the future. I've gone from tankomizers or atomizers (still fuzzy on that) to clearomizers to tube tanks in 2-1/2 weeks! I agree about erring on the side of caution with juices; I've been recommended several juices and haven't like any recommended to me but the people who suggested them love them. I've ordered from Mrs. T's Bakery for the first time and am anxiously awaiting my shipment :). Again, welcome!
