Greetings. I've been vaping for almost a year. I found the ECR subreddit a couple months ago, so I figured its time I got on ECF (since I have read so many threads on here anyways). I got into DIY juice pretty quickly after I moved past my first mini protank, but still have much to discover. Recently I started scheming to make a box mod, which is when I really started digging through this forum. Now that the DNA 40 is out, I'm really stoked to finish my design and start building. Currently vaping some home-made Blueberry Hazelnut juice in a drilled out Kayfun lite + on my Cana Modz. :)

Hey man, I'm new around here as well. I ordered my kayfun clone a week ago and have gone to Varos Vapor and Vapin Greek youtube channels for all my coil builds and holy crap... Should have done this right from the day 1 of vaping. Currently using a .9 ohm twisted 30ga coil. This is the best vapor I have gotten so far by a landslide. I got the idea from Varos Vapor.

I really thought the nautilus bvc coils were the pinnacle and I was so wrong.. They aren't too bad though, and I would still suggest them for people starting out.

As far as building mods.. I salute you. A slight bit above my level in this hobby as of right now, though I really like diy stuff and this is really intriguing :)

Yea I kinda knew which sub forums to checkout, was just being cute:p

NoSerenity That's a great build! I have a 1 . 4(i think) twisted 30g in my kayfun right now. This weekend I drilled out my Kayfun, and I fell in love with it all over again! After using RDAs for a few months the Kayfun draw felt too tight. But I forgot about the Kayfun's great flavor and the convenience of 4 ml tank!

You have uncovered the secret in my name, nice! :p

Yea, 30g was the first spool I picked up and had a lot of issues working with it, and I didn't enjoy the amount of flavor/vapor it produced at high ohms. Not wasting it and getting the coil I needed was like icing on a cake with the twist method. My coils are so consistent with this method now I may just keep buying 30g and continue doing it this way. Another plus is they say there is more areas in the coil for the juice to seep into and create a better vapor.

Edit: When you say you drilled it, you are referring to the center pin? I have the hcigar clone and it's not as airy as my rsbt but it's pretty good. Rda's are in my future for home use though.
