trust me i know what wattage to fire at AS WELL AS how soaked my cartos need to be!!
standard rez i usually go between 11.5-13.0 watts, mind u I am using only 1 18350 battery... and I prime the cartos well enough. I prime my cartos by dripping at the top then blowing through the top to saturate the filler from the top all the way down...

Like I said I have been using cartos for 6 months and about 3 months with THIS VAMO..

Problem has only began roughly 3 days ago!!! Which leads me to believe either my juice is to thick? (Which can't be possible for it is a juice that I have vaped numerous times, have 4 bottles used to be exact, Uncle'Junk's Genius juice)
OR

That something is wrong with my vamo, particularly the metal disk that contacts the bottom portion of the Cartomizer..

I appreciate the help, but none of those factors seem to be the reason why..

11.5-13.0 watts,

Are you joking???? No filler type carto can withstand 13 watts of power. Just ain't gonna happen. They begin to fry at 7-8 watts....

Uhhhh are u sure?

a Dual Coil Cartomizer?

I've been using these dual coil cartomizers for months with different flavors and if Standard Rez been using it at 11-13 watts with no problems at all.....

I'm absolutely sure--if you're using dual coil cartomizers, you need to double the resistance of your cartomizer to do the math. What is the resistance of your cartos? Sorry if I missed that.

Ah, so you're in the walnut/la Puente area. Try the cartomizers from BZ Vapin. I went to the shop yesterday to check them out since they just opened. They're good people. I haven't tried their cartomizers, but for sure its not Vape Rev cartomizers. I believe they carry smoketech and boge cartomizers.

I detest using dual coil cartomizers because the top usually gets dry because of course the holes that feed the polyfill is at the bottom, not the top. So the top never gets re-saturated and it does get dry because of that second coil. Single coils are usually located near the bottom or the middle of the cartomizer so it's a fairly even heating of the juice in the cartomizer.

Yes I'm at that area! Yes I must agree, BZvapin got some nice people. My deal though is, since dual coils consist of a top and bottom coil,(i did know that before hand after taking apart some cartos) why would it matter what brand? I have heard good things about boge's but aren't the boge dual coils the same set up internally? (One top coil, one bottom?)

And yes I understand what you're saying about dual coils, but up until this point I have had no problems with burnt dual coil cartomizers.

OK, if you're using a 2.8Ω dual coil carto on 6 volts, you're vaping at 6.4 watts.

You should be fine--that's a perfectly safe power for cartomizers.

hmmmmm. 6.4 watts???? Don't you mean 12 watts?

EHH nonetheless, I don't over exceed the watts/power so I have a hard time believing that that is the reason why my cartos are burning out... kind of skeptical on the batch of juice I have, EVEN THOUGH I'VE VAPED IT SOO MANY TIMES IN THE PAST!

UH

No, I don't!

A 2.8Ω dual coil is really two 5.6Ω coils side-by-side on the same connector. So the voltage is calculated for 5.6Ω, NOT the 2.8Ω.

You were vaping at ~6 watts, which means that your cartos are either underfilled or just junk. :)

Each brand have their fans due to experience with them; most say one has better quality, denser polyfill, coils are created evenly, holes are punched correctly, etc...

This sounds like a case of bad cartos. Is that new carto you put in from the same pack/box? If so, then it's a bad batch.

Nope thats the thing!

Pure Vapor sells VapeRev cartos individually!(In packs of course too)

But I've gotten each carto within a week from each other... which keeps me skeptical on the idea of ALL OF THEM being bad cartos from a bad patch....

Are those the cartos you're using? And did you really pay $10 for a box???

Cartomizers - Accessories

They are the cartos I am using but I did NOT buy them from that website and so no, I did not pay $10 a box. I know thats expensive but around my area thats pretty much the price for them at the Vape Stores near me.... roughly $10 for a box..

Yup!

I agree. Get a box of Boge of Smoktech single-coil cartomizers.

You're not interested in ordering online?

SureVapes offers great deals on Boge cartos and their shipping is free (over 10 bucks).
