Hey Everyone.

Just dropping a line to say hello!

My name is Brittany. I just purchased 2 disposable e-cigs from NHaler, menthol and USA mix. Im hoping to give one to a friend, so we both can kick this habit. Ive read through many threads, and it seems its mostly USA based websites. I can understand seeing as there is an apparent ban on nicotine based vaperizors(SP).

Im hoping this company comes through, Ive read good things, hence the order, and i get my order fairly quickly, as Im pretty anxious to get started!

A question to all newbies..... What did you start with, and which would you recomend for someone who smokes menthols regularly.

Thanks everyone.

Welcome BritsPack

You're a good friend to buy one for your friend also.

I've started out with Blu cigs using the SLB 510 catomizers on them, and also a Vapor Kiing Shorty PCC kit from V4L. I'm liking both of them. The Blu out of the box isn't very good (IMO), because the cartridges produce very little vapor. Using the 510 catomizers instead of the Blu cartridges vapor production increased dramatically.

Not sure what all is available to you in Canada from the US, but I know others will.

Good luck to you and your friend.

And don't be to worried if you still have some analog smokes while you begin your e-cig adventure. I've only been on e-cigs for a 1-1/2 weeks, and I still have one analog smoke a day. Mainly because I still have a pack in my bedroom, and at $8.30 a pack I figure I'll just finish it off.

Welcome Brit!

I can't really help you on the menthol - all I've tried are pre-filled cartomizers that tasted more like Wrigley's gum than menthol. I didn't mind, but if it's menthol you're after, probably not a winner.

But, as far as devices, I started with a Kr808D-1 (also sold as the Vapor King, Nebula, etc), which is a 2-piece model with a solid battery life and throat hit.

That and the Joye 510 are probably the two best models for newbies. They are both a bit bigger than a real cigarette, but they give you the most performance you can get in a small package.

Good luck in your search and if you have any questions, let us know!

Thanks everyone! Its such a bad habit, and yes, the price is outrageous. Im paying nearly $15 for a pack of smokes now. At work I smoke a pack a day, but usualy I try to stick to half pack. Damn taxes! Canada should really open the boarders to these products.

I have read about the Joye model. Its so hard to keep track, soooo many out there, really hard to get my head around! i will keep you all updated when I recieve my pack.

Im wondering if it will be enough though, maybe I should place another order tonight? I dont want to start and end up liking it with no refills etc, having to wait for a new shipment. On the other hand, I dont want to waste my money.

Will look into those other models tonight!

Thanks again, and really excited!

Where is the best place to buy online, In your opinion, for the full starter kit? My 2 disposables cost 43 in total with shipping, shipping was more than the product!!! hahah

I think I will buy the joye 510 and some flavours tonight, see which comes in first, I could always give away the other disposable one if I dont use it.

What are some flavours you personally like, and which stores you buy from?

Thanks

As another Canadian there are places to order from in Canada, check your pm box :) As Canadians we can have problems with bringing in things from the US, sometimes they will get caught up in customs (possibly being shipped back to the vendor), sometimes we have to pay duty on top of it as well :(
Check out the Canadian forum as well!

No prob, definately check out the Canadian forum, there is a link about who has had success with what companies for bringing into canada, things like asking them to put the value at $50 instead of $100, how long their orders usually take to get here etc. Also if you are looking for something specific that you can't find in Canada someone else may know another supplier etc.
Hope everything works out for ya :)
