New to ECF forums!

About a year ago I committed myself to finally quit smoking. I checked numerous reviews on different e-cig manufacturers and decided to try both Blu and Greensmoke. I was excited, going to finally quit smoking. Both e-cigs arrived within days of each other and to my disappointment, after days of trial, they deflated my excitement and only made me aggravated to the point of wanting a real cigarette.

Flash forward a year later. I stumbled upon ECF forums, I researched, read, and watched. Three things really struck me and have impressed me immensly, Variable Voltage, Provari, and Lava tanks. Variable Voltage because I needed the ability to adjust my experience based on my personal needs. Provari because no matter how hard I tried, I could not find a person who disliked it. Lava tanks because of the amazing craftsmanship and the ability to reflect my own personal style while kicking a nasty habit, if it was going to be a fight, I wanted it to be on my terms.

I ordered right away from Provape.

This is what I ordered:

ProVari™ Mini V2 with Digital Display - Satin Black

(2x) 18350 AW IMR Batteries

(3x) DCT Cartomizer Tank - 3.5ml

(5x) 510 Replacement DCT cartomizer with hole punched - 3ohm Single Coil

I ordered right away from Johnson Creek Smoke Juice.

This is what I ordered:

Johnson Creek Arctic Menthol - 2.4% 15mL (Lifetime menthol cigarette smoker)

Johnson Creek Spiced Apple Cider - 2.4% 15mL (Fall is coming, thought it would be fun to be seasonal, lol)

Red Oak Valencia - 2.4% 15mL (I absolutely love citrus smells and flavor)

Everything arrived yesterday, I stalked the mailman for like a week, might have given him the finger a couple times upon seeing he had no packages for me and was driving away.

As I test and sample today I will be sure to post my thoughts.

You go! I wish I did exactly what you have done months ago. I went the trials and tribulations route. Oh well, money well spent all the same.

You don't mention a battery charger. (?) Don't skimp on that either if it slipped your mind at the time.

Edit: Had to chuckle about the mailman thing. Now remember, always be nice to your mailman. He will become your best buddy. :2cool:

I was really hoping that was the case.

Ok, now that the door is open, I think I will take a step through. Carto tanks work well for what they are, but you will be much more happy with a tank style like the Vivi Nova. Buy two. Buy a couple of decent attys for taste testing. On the juice front, and JC is a decent liquid, try Heather's Heavenly Vapes, Ahlusion juices, GoodeJuice, and Vermillion River just to name a few. You won't be disappointed.

Yeah I ordered a charger as well, I was more or less posting the technical things that could be changed out in case people had suggestions as far as juice, cartomizers, and the like.

Yeah that's why I would wait til he was already moving up the street, lol. Genuinely nice guy for a mailman, was trying to show my displeasure and the finger made me feel better, haha.

Sounds like your on a good track I wish you good luck. I am 4 months into vaping and with support and a few vaping toyz and flavors to play around with..I don't think I will go back. Just think of it like food...Just because someone else likes a dish or the way it's cooked doesn't mean you will. I agree with TB and the others, just experiment a little and shop around. It,s money well spent once you find the right setup and juices..and oh my gosh there are millions of options out there! Once again welcome and stick with it.:toast:
