Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums and new to vaping. Been off analogs for nearly a month now, been a pack a day smoker of winfield blues for 15 years. Love vaping. Has all the good things about smoking and none of the bad. It all started when one of my mates at work got an ego-c upgrade starter kit, I had a week off and when I came back he had about 10 people on my crew on the ecig. I got a kit off him and started vaping. It was so real bad Chinese 18mg e-liquid and it tasted like bad chemicals. I stuck it out but I was still having a few analogs everyday. I did some research and got myself some Johnson creek smoke juice ordered along with some other stuff.

Wow what a difference it was having some good juice. I was so excited to finally have something I could enjoy. Johnson creek original in 11mg is my all day vap at the moment. And I'm happy. Once I found something that was good to vape I kinda went a bit silly and started to order better hardware. Below ill list all my vaping gear. If anyone wants to know how it performs post here and I'll give you a run down. I will try and get up some short first impression reviews as well.

HARDWARE:

* Joye tech ego-c upgrade ultimate kit ( 650 & 900mah batteries and 5 x stardust 2 clearomizers

* Green Smoke Pro kit ()

* Vapor 4 Life Vapor Zeus Dual Mode Starter kit ( also have auto battery and 10 pack of smileomizers)

* 2 x Kanger Tech Kanger pro tanks (2013 model)

* Provari Mini + Zen Z-Atty-Pro

* Joye Tech Ego Twist VV

E-JUICE:
(All 11mg)

* Johnson Creek Original

* Johnson Creek Red Oak Domestic

* Johnson Creek Red Oak Tennessee Cured

* Johnson Creek Red Oak Silver Thorn

* Johnson Creek Red Oak Swiss Dark

* Johnson Creek Espresso

* Johnson Creek Chocolate Truffle

* Green Smoke Red Label Tobacco

* Green Smoke Absolute Tobacco

* Green Smoke Menthol Ice

* Green Smoke Smooth Chocolate

* Green Smoke Variety Pack

* Atmos Labs Tobacco Tobacco

* Atmos Labs RY69

* Atmos Labs Chocolate

* V4L 555 (now called triple nickel)

* V4L Wowboy WOW

* V4L Triple Nickel WOW

* V4L RY4

* V4L True Tobacco Sampler Pack

* V4L Absolute Tobacco

* Zero Cig Realistic Tobacco

* Zero Cig RY Tobacco

So there you have my collection of vaping gear and juices. I worked it out last night, including freight I've spent all but $1900 AUD. it sounds like a lot but when you spend $5k + a year on analogues it's all good. More to follow

First impressions:
EGO-C UPGRADE + STARDUST 2 CLEAROMIZER

together these two pieces make a nice light and portable combination. The 650mah battery lasted me a couple of days of what I'd call reasonable constant vaping. A 1.6ml clearo lasted me a couple of days too. Saying that I was initially using some pretty rank Chinese e-liquid so I possibly wasn't going as hard as I could. All in all a pretty decent unit. Later on I discovered it has a constant voltage of 3.3v and a battery voltage mode starting around 4.2v or something. Well things really started to get better when I switched it over to battery voltage mode and haven't gone back since. Much better flavour and vapor. The stardust 2 clearo's can leak a little out the bottom sometimes but not much. Just give it a wipe out in the battery thread and all good.

Welcome to the ECF, and congratulations on quitting smoking. Looks like you have a pretty good selection of stuff. The search for the perfect juice seems to be eternal, but fun.

Hey, thanks for your welcome. Haha yeah it seems like its going to be a long and interesting road to finding the perfect juice. It's pretty tricky in Australia as our selection of local stuff is limited, I have yet to delve into mixing my own stuff (ie: adding nicotine to no nic stuff I can by in Australia but I have a mixing kit on the way so soon. I got the Provari Mini and a Good tank because I want to get the best out of the juices. And being about to have a set voltage will I'm sure be the best way as some of my juices defiantly need more volts then I am able to give them at the moment.
Saying that I haven't tried all of the thick stuff in the Vapor Zues which is 5v.

wow, I thought I had gone overboard spending over 100 dollars on a starter kit and extra batteries and carts! I love vaping too, So hopeful that it will be my way out of stinky ciggs forever! Welcome to the group, I am new too!

:) yeah I have gone a bit silly but there's a story. It basically goes, I ordered the green smoke first but it took weeks to get here and I was going on holidays and needed an alternative to analogues as my go hates them. I got the ego-c upgrade kit. Then I discovered the Zeus and thought hell yeah I have to have. Also took weeks, and managed to "kill" both smilomizers that came with the starter kit in 2 days :-( (bad batch), then I found I really need a way to get constant and more voltage then the ego style would allow so I ordered the Provari. I'm pretty sure that I will not be buying any more devices again. I got the green smoke because every review said that there flavours were amazing and had the most realistic cigarette flavour out there. Hmmm more on that later.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
GREEN SMOKE PRO KIT

Great kit and the quality is excellent. Between the long and the short battery I get through a 12 hour shift, just. Takes hours to recharge so if your a heavy vaper have a backup. There flavours however don't do much for me, compared to The other E-liquids I have they taste pretty plane. The red label is okay but nothing like any smoke I've tasted before. To get the best of this kit I poped the top of a cart and filled it up with some jc original and it's good as gold. Much stronger flavour then the green smoke stuff. I wasn't getting much throat hit from the liquids either but adding my own has made it better. They do really need a bit of a primer puff and a long slow draw to get the most out of them. All in all they aren't bad, and will be great if your going out to a pub or club or wherever and want to " fit in" they do the job and the handy hard case that you get with the pro kit is great. Holds 2 batteries and 2 carts. Should get you through a night out. One of my friends got a cheap cigarette style ecig and the green smoke is far superior in every way. It has the power to give you a good vape on your favourite juice and aren't hard or messy to refill.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
VAPOR 4 LIFE VAPOR ZEUS DUAL MODE

Great quality bit of gear, the nice rubber texture on the batt and smileo are fantastic. I burnt out/popped both the smilomizers that came in the kit pretty quick. One was burnt from the start and it was defiantly full. I let them sit for hours and the one that tasted burnt from the start sat for a day. Oh we'll never mind maybe a bad batch but I've got more coming and I still love the device. Nice warm vape with great throat hit and clouds of vapor. Really brought the flavour out in the 2 juices I tried in it. Jc original and v4l 555 I got the dual mode to start with because I wasn't sure how the auto would go bouncing around in my pocket all day at work. Well turns out that I don't think it would be a problem so I ordered an auto as well. The dual mode is quite long the auto is a bit shorter which I think will be better. The auto switch works really well. All up I will use this device a lot still I think. But 5 volts is too much for some juice I believe. I really like the soft silicone end that you can bite down on and hold in your mouth, however I can taste the silicone quite a bit even after washing. I believe this will go over time or maybe I really had a bad batch. Will see how it goes when I get it going again.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS :
KANGER PRO TANK

This little beauties are awesome. Great taste and heaps of vapour. Using them on the ego batteries but will be using as a second on the Provari mini. I love this tank. Really does taste so good. It seems to go burn through juice quicker then the stardust 2's did but its worth it for the vapour and taste improvements. I think it could benefit from more volts then the ego can give it ( I haven't received the twist yet). Both the two tanks I have leak when they are about 1/3 full. I had one relieve itself of juice in my pocket on a flight from Sydney to Brisbane :-( I think there may be a way to overcome this. I am running a reworked one tonight so we will see. All up a great device, with a vary airy draw but I like that. Put out good flavour and vapour. It will make a fine secondary on my Provari mini

Well, you've been busy. First month, now a Provari and some good gear. Congrats to you. So glad you were able to quit and find a wonderful new "hobby." I would venture to say, with your apparent proclivities, that you will add to your collection. The new gear provides both a better vaping experience, and an awesome spending fix, does it not? I haven't been able to shake the bug yet, and the wife vapes, so that helps (?), but I must admit, I do like the shiny new gear that pops up every day now. Do not subscribe to ........'s. Very expensive and habit forming. Appreciate your reviews, btw. Sounds like you're well on your way to a happy vaping life, and I'm glad you made it the Forum and are willing to share your experience. It certainly helps to stay vaping and helps others trying to "get here" as well. Congrats, welcome, Power up and Vape On!
